Well we got a delivery last week and the postie took it back to the depot as we were out. Mea t we had to go up and go through that fun to collect my parcel. Would rather if I could have spoke with the postie and told him to leave it round the side of the house. My wife gets a ton of deliveries so speaking to the courier's and postie's when you aren't in is very useful.

Bought my sister 1 for Xmas. She's set it up and seems happy with my purchase. Gets an alert whenever someone comes near which is great as the distance from the door to the living room is quite far and gives her peace of mind

My mother in-law doesn't have a TV aerial in the house. She has Virgin coming in but wants to get rid of the TIVO box. See the wall mounted box Virgin have coming in, can that be used as a Freeview Aerial or will she need a TV aerial up on the roof? I seem to remember running a small aerial from my virgin box into my TV 15 years ago and it worked. Am I remembering wrong?

Been thinking of getting 1 for a while. Is it a daft novelty or a sensible purchase? From reading the sales pitch you could conceivably use it as security more than actually a doorbell. The motion sensor alerts when you are away from the house would be very handy. Is their some subscription involved? Anyone got 1 and care to weigh in?

I wish I'd known that when I was watching JJs 90s Falkirk teams that I was truly watching a golden age for our club. On the 1 hand I was lucky to see all those players and I was in Perth when IT happened. On the other hand I was only young so just took all that talent for granted

Marketplace is a bloody nightmare. 1st up you answer questions only for them to go silent. Then you get the people who say they will be round and never appear. Last item I gave away I actually had a lady tell me she was coming at 11. Come 11 and no sign I drop her a message asking where she is whilst assuming she's a no show. She gets back In contact to say she's "on the train". I'm apparently aware of where from and how long this will take. I assume she's close so leave the item at my door and f**k off to the tip with some shite I want to dispose of. I return about an hour later and the bag is still there. I'm really not giving a f**k by now so f**k off back out. When I return the bag is finally gone and through speaking to a neighbour discover this woman was over 2 hours late. f**k only knows how far this train came from because I'm less than 10min walk from the station. I'm also really pissed off that she said f**k all about how late she was gonnae be ( she was the 1 who said 11 to me) or how far she was coming. I'm just glad I didn't wait around the entitled piece of scum.
