  1. He was carrying an injury when the Bolton deal was agreed. They backed out. He recovered fairly quickly, but Bolton had already moved on by then.
  2. I agree. And everyone on the opposite side needs to shut their mouth.
  3. Who do you think pushed the narrative that Punk emptied Cabana to Meltzer and Alvarez? Tony Khan admitted that it had nothing to do with Punk, it was his call. Yet Hangman and the Bucks were ever so eager to push that this was all down to Punk. Surely, as EVPs, they knew fine well that it wasn't. Wouldn't you agree? In all honesty, I'm sick and tired of it all over shadowing the actual wrestling shows. But for the fans of the Bucks and AEW, there can be no convincing them - to them, Punk is the devil. Reality suggests that they're all arseholes - with the Bucks crew being marginally bigger arseholes.
  4. So no wrestler has the right to be annoyed when someone goes into business for themself? Throughout the history of the business, that has never gone down well. Factor in that Hangman did this to literally the biggest draw in the history of the company - for him not to face even slight repercussion is just weird.
  5. So would I, if I was the one who kickstarted it all. Mental that he has come out of this relatively scot free after beig the one to light the blue touch paper in the first place.
  6. I'm in no way a Punk fan. I think he's a self-righteous arsehole. However, it's apparent that there's an agenda - being driven by the Bucks and their contingent, including Meltzer and Alvarez - to somehow get rid of Punk. If you can't see that they are trying their level best to actively push him out then I don't know what to tell you. In all honestly, all sides come across as childish arseholes. But this is 100% being driven by that Bucks clique.
  7. If we get £500k for Baccus that'd be some piece of business. FWIW I think he'd do a job for Aberdeen. From what we saw at the weekend, he'd walk in to the centre of that midfield.
  8. I'd really prefer Baccus to stay. That said, with O'Hara, CBM, Kiltie, Gogic and Flynn, it wouldn't be the big loss that O'Hara or Strain would be IMO. If the Aberdeen offer is decent, I wouldn't be overly bothered if we accepted it. With all that in mind - f**k ABERDEEN WE SHOULD NEVER EVER EVER BE SELLING PLAYERS TO RIVALS ETC ETC ETC.
  9. It is proper mental that most AEW fanboys can't see what the Bucks and their wee pals are trying to do with Punk. On each of the occasions they all claim Punk has been an areshole, it's been started by the Bucks and their crew running their mouths.
  10. I agree that there has been a massive focus on enticing younger fans along to matches. I think Keith Lasley has take a huge amount of credit for that. However, based on purely where I sit, there are a lot of unfamiliar faces filling the seats around me this season. I can only assume that's down to the upturn in results/style of football on show. I would love the increase to be sustainable. But if we lose SR and make aother Stubbs-esque apppointment, will that additional 25% hang about? Hard to see that being the case IMO. The size of stadium is perfect for us as it is at the moment.
  11. The talk of developing the stadoum to increase capacity is mental to me. We are one managerial change, or one downturn in results away from the 25% attendance increase pissing off once again.
  12. I think folk are being harsh in singling out Hemming - and for the record I do think he has to come and get a touch on that ball. However, Tanser drops deeper than the rest of the defence and actually starts baring down on the goalie - I can totally see why Hemming thinks Tanser is going to clear, just by catching a glimpse of him out the corner of his eye. In the end, they both leave it to each other and the ball sails straight in. Terrible defesivley, but not entirely Hemming's fault - even though he must do better. Hemming and Tanser have to both share the blame for that one.
  13. The Dundee fans - the support with the absolute worst patter going - still taking their arse skelping on the opening day well I see.
  14. Taylor plays the types of balls Dunne shells out the park for 90 minutes. The guy is just a quality player.
  15. Get Richard Taylor on a new deal now. He was outstanding today - particularly in the first half. Olusanya was also unplayable today.
  16. Good to see you still keeping track on what’s happening in the Box Office Buddies threads. Please come again.
  17. For me, it looked like a definite foul on Tanser just seconds before he awards Aberdeen the freekick that they go and score from. In real time, it certainly looked a foul and should have been a free kick to us. Doesn’t negate out piss poor defending and horror goalkeeping though.
  18. Seething mess etc. Personally, I thought Richard Taylor was the man of the match. Hemming was poor for the Aberdeen opened. He has to come and get something on the ball there. Our penalty was a stonewaller. It is very annoying how long VAR takes to check these. I absolutely love the fact Motherwell fans think Mika Mandron is a diddy. He’s been excellent for us. I suppose that’s the benefit if having a good manager. The Aberdeen pen, like ours, was also a stonewaller. Aberdeen were rank throughout and will no doubt be delighted and sneaking a point from a game they deserved nothing from. Dons fans, has that been the theme of the season or more likely down to the midweek European fixtures? Most of your big players just weren’t at the races. In the handful of games I’ve seen of him, that’s the worst I’ve seen Miovski looking.
  19. Hemming has to be coming and getting something on that. Only mitigation is it was virtually the first thing he’s had to do. Concentration levels have to be higher.
  20. Scheduling a TTT for that late in the almost pitch black was nuts. I totally get why the teams who set off later were fucked off with it all. Crazy decision.
  21. Delighted to get small back. He had one fairly big f**k up last season against Killie. But he’s a young boy who does impress me. Hopefully he can knuckle down now and make the Lb position his own. This won’t do Tanser any harm either.
  22. There have been plenty of challenges in the history of football where a player has suffered a serious injury in a nothing challenge. Why are Motherwell fans going on like this is the first time this has ever occurred in human history? They seem to be very precious over what was, at best, a free kick. The Well fans' reactions to this are even funnier that their manager's reaction. It's a shame that the boy appears to have picked up a serious injury. Hopefully it's not as serious as is being suggested.
  23. That is a great tackle from Dunne. Motherwell boy was unfortunate to come out of it with an injury. It's not a foul or a red card though. That's just crazy talk.

  25. For as much as I don't want to go through it again - I actually enjoyed the Oran Kearney season.
