I see you guys have signed Alex Grieve. A highly rated talent over here and having watched him a few times, he is a good player but the level here is lower than the Premier League so will certainly be interesting to see how he makes the step up. Wouldn’t mind seeing I’m on loan at East Fife as he would certainly do a job with us.

I’d give Greig McDonald a 10 minute cameo and he will get my vote. He’d probably still do a better job than the dross we have now. Surely to hell we can’t have a player of the year. How about ‘a slightly less shite than everyone else’ award? We literally have nothing left to play for and still have 15 games to go. That’s quite an achievement. I’d give more of the under 20’s an opportunity and see if any of them are decent enough to play next season. Nothing to lose now.

Well, that will be that then. Season over by mid January in what has been a horrendous season. We can go into depth about what went wrong but it has been covered on this thread before, but the writing was on the wall long before the League Cup games and the majority of those players are nowhere near good enough to be at this level. We’ve just given Dumbarton their 2nd home win of the season, have a guess who the first was against… Not blaming Crawford, as he can only work with the garbage at his disposal and he has a massive job to completely overhaul the squad for League 2. I fear for what our crowds will be for the rest of the season now. I see that Stirling Albion won away from home today so it isn’t Young that’s the problem. Our away form is unacceptably bad, but not expected either with the bunch of jobbers that we have. I’ve grown to really resent the players now, and guys like Slattery, K Smith, Dunsmore and Davidson have tainted their reputation and will now be known as part of that awful squad that got us relegated in January. Cya in League 2.

Surprised that we only conceded 2. This team can all get in the bin, absolute bunch of jobbers. Crawford has a huge shop shipping out a lot of muck for League 2.

Do we have to play this? McGeever and Buchanan to score at least once each and we will concede a minimum of 3 goals.

Those highlights are so bad, our defending is just garbage. What’s the lowest points total from a team finishing 10th? At the moment these bunch of absolute jobbers could make history.

Those are some hilariously bad stats. You forgot to mention that we haven’t won away from home since I think March when we beat an already relegated Forfar. It’s going to be a classic.

Some of those players are decent, however their time is up with us and a major freshen up is required. Guys from that list like Murdoch, Wallace, Watt and Slattery have been decent but new blood is certainly required as ultimately these are the same players that failed to get us into the promotion play offs and are now the same players that are taking us to League 2. The damage was done before the season started and most East Fife fans saw the writing on the wall so it’s not a great surprise we are where we are. I would keep a hold of Jude Smith and Aaron Steele and that’s pretty much it.

Called it. Well and truly given up for the season now. Bring on League 2.

Very sad to hear about the passing of Dave Marshall, a very nice guy and along with Angusfifer a guy who would do anything they could for the club. A real loss and condolences to his family.

Another cracking match, apart from the wanks in the crowd. I don’t mind Smith and he is probably the most form in player. He should dispose of Wade quite easily and then sets up the Scotland v England final that the crowd will want.

It wouldn’t be an Anderson game without going through the ringer. Another cracking game, but watching him on the doubles gives me the absolute fear. Wright v Searle should be a cracker.

That was an absolute classic and fair fucks to Price who capitalised on Huybrechts’ missed chances. I think Price loves the bad boy persona and plays up to it, but can’t deny that he is an incredible player.

Quality match so far and could easily go either way. I backed ‘Divingboard’ at 80/1 to win the Championship and will play the winner of this in the last 16.

The state of that team… Only losing 4-2 isn’t too bad I suppose. Every club is going to be affected hugely at some point, so we just have to hope we play a few games when our opponents are weaker than us.

Barney was flying the first set then just capitulated and Cross deservedly won. Barney just looks completely lost now and don’t know where he will go from here. Fair play to Cross though was pretty prolific and a really good fast tempo match overall.

Absolutely nowhere near good enough for this level and a very strange signing in the first place.
