  1. Yep. See today’s news that the problem central midfield position is being filled by a professional loan signing from Hibs.
  2. Any advice on where best to park at Accies ground?
  3. So Hart, Maclean, Gerry, Dom, Roberts, Mckernon, Hawke , Ruth all away Been grim reading so far this pre season. Let's see what July brings but not feeling confident right now
  4. Pretty sure in the late 90s there was a game away to Ross County midweek. A minibus took “The Dingwall 9” to the game
  5. One of my girls has it. Not a serious condition but means she is more prone to nasty ear infections. In some cases I believe it can affect hearing if not treated. In her case the ear infections themselves clear up with antibiotics. For the underlying glue ear they like to wait and see if the kids essentially grow out of it first but if not, like in our case, it can be a routine operation to insert grommets. We are currently 5 months into the 9 month waiting list (Glasgow area)
  6. Refer to Calvin Harris and Paulo Nutini by their first name only
  7. Completely forgot about this thread! I'm listed as 2 x 1/2 but of course it should just be 2 having become a dad to twin girls just under 6 months ago! A few scary moments during the delivery and one longer than planned hospital stay for twin 1........but all good now
  8. Non identical, indeed as others have suggested, you can tell by the way they develop. As the doctor said to me in much needed simple terms , "they are in their own houses rather than sharing one like identical twins do". Identical is where one egg splits into two apparantly. Quite happy that they are non identical as it will avoid amusing mistaken identity scenarios such as those in popular 90s kids show, Sister Sister.
  9. Checking in on this thread for the first time since ,my debut post. My wife is now at 35 weeks with the twins. Been told 37 weeks is the point at which they will induce if nothing happens before then. In this kind of strange no mans land/waiting game at the moment. Everything is organised (well the practical stuff that can be!) so just need to get my head around it all. Bizarrely it still doesn't feel real although I guess it is about to!
  10. Not sure on the etiquette of a first post on this thread....... but anyone on here got experience of twins? My wife is 21 weeks with twin girls. All seems fine so far but lots of focus at every appointment on the "risks". Currently split 50/50 between excitement and nerves lol.
  11. It's going to be six each isn't it
  12. Looked like he had the shakes a few times when on doubles
  13. Taylor looks ill these days
  14. I did the bare minimum (i.e shitfest) to get through my accountancy degree at Glasgow. In terms of jobs I think it depends of you plan on going down the trainee CA route with an accountancy firm as they will expect a lot more knowledge etc from your course than say starting at the bottom somewhere as an Accounts Assistant like I did. Where the Uni experience can come in handy if you go down that route is the early stages of ACCA or CIMA exams if you plan on doing them.
