  1. Sorry what I should of said is when are the MSM going to stop with the constant wankathon any time the virus changes in any way.
  2. Sound the variant klaxon https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.express.co.uk/life-style/health/1454661/lambda-variant-symptoms-how-many-cases-confirmed-UK-evg/am New Lamda variant found in Peru with 6 cases already in UK. Is this ever going to end?
  3. Does anyone know how many season tickets were sold last year as with new season ticket sales not starting until Monday 28th (according to the website) it looks like this one will only be available to renewed holders. If the level 1 limit is 1000 is anyone likely to miss out? I am buzzing to get back COYR
  4. I took it that the fans were Croats and Czechs living in the UK who would of purchased the tickets and have not come from abroad due to the rules
  5. Is there any signs of pre season friendlies that the fans can attend or will they all be behind closed doors and the first game with fans be the league cup?
  6. Boris being a lying shitbag is a given however it does not matter what he said today as it meàns the square root of f**k all to the easing in Scotland. He could of went with the "freedom Day" plan and we, in Scotland, would still be stuck in the same position as our government and advisers just don't know and will wait two weeks to see if there are any new variants that can escape the vaccine. The Scottish government as so risk adverse that we were never opening fully on the 21st no matter what, we have not even seen the plan of what comes after level 0.
  7. They were expecting to give by all adults at least their first shot (which at the time was touted to give a lot of protection) by the end of May, then give the 3 weeks for the effects to take place gave them the date of June 21.
  8. Like you all a wee bit surprised that the existing season ticket holders are seemingly ignored however the £10 renewal for my son will save me a wee bit I suppose
  9. FFS lighten up, can you not see if was made in jest. Nobody really believes that the man in the picture does anything but his comments are reflective of the people who post in twitter about people in the parks and 3rd waves
  10. Come on, win on Saturday, I believe, guarantees a playoff spot and would also relegate Alloa
  11. https://www.ons.gov.uk/aboutus/transparencyandgovernance/freedomofinformationfoi/deathsfromcovid19withnounderlyinghealthconditionsbyage Here is a link that shows 101 deaths of people between 0 and 44 in England and Wales (as of the 07 Dec 2020)
  12. Where has this Rovers team been the last few months, the way they are playing is easy to watch and not an actual chore.
  13. https://www.facebook.com/utv223/ Give this boy a contact in Facebook, I have it as a back up service and it is good (never let me down)
  14. what is it they say "swing and a miss champ"
  15. Yeah,I just don't understand why there isn't a specific effort being mounted to vaccinate all school employees in the time between now and reopening. I know some on here raised the possibility of other occupations demanding special queue jumping permission, but if schools have been "infection factories" all this time, surely we should be starting this road to normality with as many protections as possible? As much as one poster states that the schools are "infection factories" it is clearly untrue, the graph below shows the period between the October holidays and Christmas where the schools were back full time but the tier system was in place with some area in a lockdown lite. it shows the infection rate falling for the whole period up til around the 21 December when the roughly broke off for Christmas So while schools may contribute a small part to the overall level of infection you could say that it is obviously not the only factor that drives infections. Given the graphs it is therefore possible to have the schools open and control the infection spread with other measures and given now with vaccines available, we would hope, there is less pressure on hospitals.
  16. Ok, but route map needs to make that clear. Surely people and businesses would have a right to be pissed off if they have done right in thier area but can't enjoy the freedoms associated with it because of you neighbours to the north
  17. Also they have said it will be data driven but will it be the same as last year, for example, was it not something like Falkirk area could not be moved down a tier as it was connected to North Lanarkshire were there were higher numbers or where Edinburgh should have been in tier 2 but they were scared everyone from Glasgow would go there shopping. If they say that the measures are data driven then it should be black and white and not there interpretation of the data with caveats included I appreciate that the decisions reached where based in data but they set out guidelines and then set out there own interpretation of the guidelines
  18. Have any of the other parties said that they would do things differently? At a basic level that is. Not on the easing of restrictions but you only have to look at a few posts before this to see that John Swinney's handling of the exams has been called into serious question, bordering on incompetence.
  19. Whilst you are correct that the rates went up after the schools went back there may have been other factors in play if you look at the graph below it shows that after the implementation of circuit breaker and tier 4 restrictions in the Glasgow and surrounding areas, around the school October holidays, that the case levels were actually dropping until the Christmas break when everyone was given the free for all. So while schools may contribute to the overall level of infection you could say that it is obviously not the only factor that drives infections. Given the graphs it is therefore possible to have the schools open and control the infection spread with other measures and given now with vaccines available, we would hope, there is less pressure on hospitals.
  20. I was told that the lateral flow tests can produce false positives so any positive from them needs to be backed up with a positive PCR test. however they are almost 100% accurate in diagnosing negatives
  21. Where have I advocated letting the virus rip, I have said open the schools slowly (P1 - 3 first) monitor for a few weeks and then open some more. This could be in conjunction with some non essential services. This will allow the contract trasers to ensure that any outbreaks are monitored and sources can be identified.
  22. I know your opinion is that schools are some sort of glorified childcare but it does beg the question if you open up those sectors what happens to the kids of the workers? The answer will be that they will be placed with their grandparents which is not ideal in a public health emergency or do you keep the workers with children on furlough and f**k up the countries economy some more?
  23. I put a question mark at the end to start a discussion. What do you think should be opened up first that won't cause this "ramp up" to happen without any risks? Nothing in life is risk free and we have to start somewhere and that is where the 2 governments seems to be hanging their hat on to. I am not trying to sound pissy I genuinely want to know what people believe the sequence of opening up of everything should be?
