I don’t think setting yourself a target is a gimmicky initiative, especially one dictated by a calendar we follow for literally everything else. And if there is indeed a problem, what makes it gimmicky? Why is it stupid? Targeting things for weeks/months is completely normal. It can work for some people. This is a Scottish football forum. I don’t think anyone here is “showing off”. I said earlier, there is a thread dedicated to “what are you drinking?” and I don’t think it’s cream soda. You seem to be forgetting that “just not consuming alcohol” is a difficult task for some. It might be easy for you, and many other members of the forum as they have kindly pointed out, but it’s not easy for everyone. You don’t need to tell them what they’re doing is stupid. Abstaining from the pub with your mates until the month is over is one thing. Abstaining from the pub by yourself is another. Abstaining from drinking in the house due to boredom and loneliness is another altogether. For some people, they’d be abstaining from the only socialising that they get.

We’re absolutely fine, especially considering the financial difficulties expressed at the start of the season. Positionally, most fans would have taken 3rd or 4th, and that’s probably where our squad lines up and deserves but it’s still no guarantee. We’re not much better than the others. We score a lot and concede a ridiculous amount (many of which are individual errors), and whilst there have been missed opportunities against other clubs, our inability to get a result against Raith or United will ultimately be our downfall if that’s where we want to be. Play-offs again and see what happens, but we’ve ultimately got a worse squad than last, and we’d be even more underprepared if we actually went up this year. I don’t think many people’s opinions will have changed much in the last four months.

Yes. Absolutely fucking yes. I don’t know if it’s accelerated by being an only child (edit: as in, not having someone to speak to, but that’s my perception of siblings). If I don’t have a voice I’ve always got a playlist of four of five songs in my head. Currently can’t get this out of my internal jukebox; (one for @SlipperyP maybe)

Only one I listen to which hasn’t been mentioned is Stadio. Usually covers the top five leagues, European competitions and a bit of women’s football from time to time. It’s maybe a bit hipster and woke for some, but being a bit hipster and woke, it works for me. I feel similarly about The Terrace. Only started Football Cliches since the rebrand and I absolutely adore it.

Yeah, you’re right. Only just clocked that looking at the fixtures. I’d still be inclined to start Williams anyway, in a game we’re expected to win. Cant make it today but any photos of Kingsley during the silence are much appreciated.

Neilson is away with Scotland U21s next week, which gives McMillan an extra week to recover. If we were playing, say, Dundee United then fair enough but I think it’s a bit unnecessary tomorrow.

The team are doing well again this season and competing for a consecutive top six finish. They’re playing an Accies side who haven’t won a game. Seems like a great time to play at Firhill whilst there’s a hype and what should be a comfortable win. I see they have exceeded the crowd of the previous game already, though doesn’t guarantee that on the day. Fair play!
