  1. Started my second year a few weeks ago. First year was completely online and this year is a mix, although still mostly online. In class once a week for two hours, and there's a class we're in once a month for. I find the online learning quite easy, I like that everything's recorded and I'm not just scribbling nonsense down on a bit of paper, but I do find it hard to watch something that's pre-recorded when there's no interaction and I can get really distracted in the house. I hated the fact last year I couldn't leave and study in the library, in a cafe, or most likely the pub - so I'm looking forward to less cabin fever when the work really starts to kick in. My colleague in work is doing a PhD and is also a lecturer. He finds the learning quite similar to me but the teaching much more difficult when he can't see the reactions of the students. I feel bad for my lecturers in that respect. Some of them try really hard to get the students to put cameras on but most people have no interest. Haven't been very motivated since we went back (which is why I'm back on here!) but will get back into the swing of things next week. Edit: also found out today I can put the lectures on 1.5x speed which is great.
  2. Hamilton on a Friday night: Graeme Smith flying from Azerbaijan to punch the ball in from a corner.
  3. You've managed to mention it twice in the one sentence. Well done.
  4. I've been following for about a month but decided to read the whole thing as I've started back at uni - but mainly to see if you'd ever been sacked. What a career and f**k Penya, they really missed out. You played Swift Hesperange in a European Conference tie with Bala City before. I couldn't find any more crossovers of your teams, apart from when you've been in the same league of course. Are you going to keep this going with FM22 looming?
  5. How strict are the club with the entry times? Going to be difficult getting there for 18:35 when I don’t finish work until 7.
  6. Love that the national team are doing well in the Euros and Serie A still decides to be mental. And 43 year old Gigi Buffon is back at Parma
  7. NS Mura won the Slovenian League. Not going to pretend I know anything about them but it seems they're the "phoenix club" of NK Mura, a 1. SNL stalwart, who went bust in 2005 and have since went through two risings. They don't share any previous trophies or achievements with the previous club, nor should they, but the previous incarnation never managed to win the top division. This is after Celje won the league for the first time last season too.
  8. I’m also enjoying the ruthlessness. It’s a step up after all, Cardle had “one more season” and has managed to turn himself into a bit of a hero. Whilst we obviously have to replace his key goals and assists from this season, we’d probably be looking at doing that anyway. Imagine Foster would stay and it’s looking ever more likely Penrice is departing, but seemingly we’ve replaced him with a 6 or 7 out of 10 left back and I don’t think that’s any difference from “Penners’” input. Have to laugh at Williamson, fair enough for making a decision but he’s got football pie all over his face. Few more to leave hopefully, excited to see who else we bring in and it’s nice to get some business done early doors. Hope the week continues to be busy.
  9. I didn't know a building could be considered derelict when there is a bar, takeaway and butcher all operating underneath it.
  10. You see c***s wearing retro gear all the time. The man is a fashionista.
  12. It was a rendition of Arab Strap's " The First Big Weekend" He's some bozo yank on YouTube who seems to be mad into casual culture. Diablo TV is his channel I'm sure.
  13. I work in a shop and we've worn masks since March (also we don't allow customers inside properly which is class - pisses off the entitled and the regulars are very understanding). I've got a big f**k off beard and it can get a wee bit moist under there but that's the only thing that bothers me about it, and if it bothered me that much I could just trim my beard. Nobody sees me anyway. Quite honestly, if it meant not getting a guaranteed cold/flu from the manky general public each year, I would happily wear one whenever entering a shop. It's quite a polite thing to do, especially if you're not well! I imagine hand sanitiser will be the thing that sticks - available on entry to everywhere and on tables in restaurants/bars. Actually kinda gross thinking about how I'd have wired into a burger and a pint previously, after handing over a scabby note coked in... coke. Knew a French guy for a bit whose whole night out was sneaking drinks from other tables. f**k knows what disease he's ended up with.

If you went Udinese or Watford in the game, would you be able to sign players for free from each club or would you still need to negotiate as normal?
  15. Aye it's been quite poor. I wonder what the impact of living in such close quarters, being away from some family, etc. is. If it's also being filmed a lot closer together (am I right in this?) I'd imagine they're more fatigued or stressed than usual. Probably being put off by Matt Lucas' shite patter anaw
  16. Shea Gordon will be at Queen's Park in League One next season.
  17. For me, it's strange to see Matt Lucas play himself and not a character. He seems a bit awkward, I suppose it is, but he doesn't have the same kind of rapport built up with everyone yet. Noel definitely wants to bang Lottie. Fair play. Rowan deserved to go. Not sure who my favourite is yet. Don't mind the Irish bloke.
  18. I pretty much dress like I can skateboard but I have no balance and just fall off and hurt myself. Haven't tried since I was a teenager though. Had thought about getting one over lockdown, seen a lot of people picking it up which is class to see. Nice documentary on the BBC about Livingston Skatepark and some girls who are trying to use it and get it done up again - Long Live Livi. Arches DIY at Cowcaddens looks pretty great.
  19. Albion Rovers, sorry. Signed Sneddon from Cowden obviously and had you on the mind.
  20. Late to the party but we signed Glenn Daniels on loan from Celtic with absolutely no intention of playing him as first-choice goalkeeper. He was signed as backup to Fox when we sent Scully on loan to Albion Rovers.
