Appere was another player that suffered from Ryan Dow syndrome in that it just wasn't immediately apparent where he was meant to play. Would still have preferred to see him have a run up front in place of McNulty, especially after we brought Watt in.

I dont mind keeping Harkes as a squad player - we need to replace Fuchs, ideally to be playing alongside Levitt next year. Butcher doesnt cut it in that role.

I'm torn between hoping Dundee stay up given how much fun the derbies are and wanting saints to go on a run to pull Aberdeen into the mix. If it was a straight up choice between the dees and the dons to go down, the latter wins hands down this season. We would also then likely see McGhee get a long term deal to take them down next year.

Persisting with Mcnulty until the end was criminal from Courts. The game really opened up after their equaliser and a couple of the young lads, with fresh legs and somewhat of an ability to control a football, could only have improved us.

McNulty is an abomination of a striker. No plan from courts to change it up either. Just rely on Watt to create something, when, on the off chance he does, it's likely to be McNulty missing the resulting chance anyway.

I think we have enough experience of employing a striker whose main purpose does not appear to be scoring goals, having watched McNulty for 2 years. I would prefer to try and get a big target man in. Either way, I think we should go back to the 4-3-3/4-5-1 that looked better at the start of the season. Harsh on young Graham but I don't like the 3-5-2 with Watt and McNulty. We need to win 2 out of our next 4 to make top 6.
