  1. I would think Cumbernauld, Kilsyth & Rutherglen plus the two playoff losers would be favourites next season. Strange alphabet though, how come Irvine Victoria come before Arthurlie/ Irvine Meadow? A dark horse? Dalry Thistle will surprise a few teams.
  2. Dyce v Irvine Meadow postponed, pitch unplayable & covered in snow.
  3. News from Meadow Park The Committee regrets to announce that Gareth Turner and Neil McGowan have both tendered their resignation with effect from the end of the season due to work commitments. We would like to thank them both for their hard work and commitment and contribution over this season. We wish them well. Michael Wardrope wishes to remain at Irvine Meadow. The Committee will discuss the vacant positions over the next few weeks.
  4. Kick off 4:45pm, being played at Benburb & they played Kilwinning at 2:00pm on same pitch.
  5. There is indeed a bar under the stand & very nice it is too. You will be very welcome. Should be a good game, looking forward to it.
  6. Meadow drawn away to Darvel in the third round of the Scottish Junior Cup, 19 November, 1:45ko. A difficult draw considering Darvel won the league cup game in August. its been a reasonably good start to the season for Meadow given all that has taken place, but we're doing OK in the league & playing some good football.
  7. I remember that game at Meadow Park, I think it was 3-1 or 4-1 for Meadow and Meadow went on to win the Scottish, beating Cambuslang after two replays at Hampden. Happy days indeed.
  8. The management team held a meeting with supporters at the end of June where their expectations were made clear and were under no illusions as to how difficult it was going to be in this league. A case of hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
  9. Well done on you victory. You have to remember that this is a completely different Meadow team from recent years. None of the current team or management were with us last season. The team is made up of players from the Ayrshire league and amateurs so it's not a surprise that we find ourselves in this position. We'll be doing well to stay in this league & that was made clear before the season started. We've lost to yourselves & Clydebank, two teams your would expect to be pushing for promotion. All the best for the season ahead.
  10. Another two signings for Meadow, Andy Cripps & Graham Boyd.
  11. FT Saltcoats 3-2 Meadow Poor performance especially in defence, gifted Saltcoats all three goals.
  12. Another two new signings for Meadow, winger Ben Black & goalkeeper Grant Weir. Welcome to Meadow Park lads.
  13. Two new signings for Meadow, PJ Dolan, formerly Kilsyth & Hurlford, and Stuart Hannah, formerly Kilwinning & Irvine Victoria.
