  1. Fully deserved 3 points today. Can't remember Mullen having a shot to deal with in the whole game. Every time we went up the park I thought we were going to score. Perfect hatrick for Robbie with his 2nd goal worth the entrance fee alone. Onwards and upwards as they say...
  2. We've had a horrendous time with injuries this season and when you have a small squad it really hits home. I think we only had two 16 year old youth players who had never played 90 minutes of first team football on the bench for one of our games. We've started to get our injured players back and climbed the table again. If you have a small squad of players and go through a bit of an injury crises then you can easily slip down the table
  3. The Wilson loan seemed a bit more permanent at the time. I don't see him going back and perhaps Queens can't afford the finances to bring him back either. French on the other hand could go back to Dundee in January, but he's not back to the player he was before his injury yet. He's been competent for us without being outstanding. In saying that I hope he stays as he has more to give. Strapp staying could come down to finances. Waters should be back from injury by the end of January and is more than a competent LB. Can we afford the two of them? King coming back would put him straight back to where he was before he left. He won't be guaranteed a start every week. Would he want to come back to the bench or play every week at Clyde? Garrity seems to have benefited from his stint on loan and perhaps should be given a chance to prove himself?
  4. I dont have high hopes of this game being played due to weather conditions for Saturday
  5. Looks like Wilson has won the injury battle sustained last week as Dougie confirmed he trained during the week and is available for tomorrow Broadfoot is suspended so I'd imagine O'Connor will want to try and regain his place back in defence. Broadfoot to be fair was decent last week as well. Gorgeous George starts his first of a two game ban, which is a pity as he was in fine scoring form. Would be good if Jai made the bench tomorrow as he can't be far away from making his comeback from injury. Will be a hard fought game, but we're confident and in good form so I expect coming away with 3 points!
  6. Absolutely delighted for the players and coaching staff to end the week with another win. Listened to Dougie post match comments and it may be that Wilson injury isn't as bad as first feared. Hope that's the case as he has been a great player for us over the last few weeks. We started off with a well worked goal and then Strapp hit the bar with the keeper well beaten. We then lost a bit of momentum with Wilson going off, but still well in control. Then two huge moments as Queens get a penalty which Mullen saves - so glad he's getting his chance now - and Big George gets sent off. Possible tackle from behind? Not sure. Down to 10 men for the whole of the 2nd half and the boys gave everything. They wanted those 3 points today and it showed. Queens huffed and puffed with the extra man advantage but they never really caused us problems to be honest . Then we have to speak about the Ref (again) Two atrocious refereeing displays in a matter of a few days is seriously taking the piss! We're back and we can only get better! With Jai not too far away either we could have a strong 2nd half to the season
  7. Without trying to sound arrogant, but if we play like we did last night it will be a home win. The players must be up for it again for that to happen, so hopefully they put in a good shift. No idea how Dougie will line us up after last night as his team selection raised a few eyebrows before the game, but he got it spot on. I'd like to see us have a real go so hopefully Bearne and possibly McGrattan come back in. But in fairness no one should be dropped after last night's performance
  8. Forgot to say as wankers go that Ref was right up there with the best of them
  9. Dougie obviously has done his homework on ICT. He was spot on with tactics and team selection. Players take a lot of credit too as they just never gave up. Strapp, Wilson, Oakley and Power when he came on were simply outstanding. Probably Strapp was MotM though. Great 3 points and we can look to Saturday's game with confidence. We play like that we will be afraid of no one
  10. Iain Wilson AGAIN makes the Team of the Week. Crazy how many in our support didn't think he was good enough when he joined us
  11. Tricky away game against a team with a new manager but we take the 3 points! Hopefully we can start to put a wee run together and get back up the table. Back at home against ICT on Tue
  12. Could see that coming. Raith have collapsed. Bit alarming at gow Raith seemed to have chucked it
  13. Definitely a penalty but Raith really should have been out of sight
