Tbf Cumnock have usually operated with a significant budget just not seen value for money in s lot of their signings. McNally will expect financial backing , the purchase of Hughes from Kilbirnie was testimony to that.

Always thought Carlo an approachable and decent guy spoke to him for a good while after a Maybole/Kilbirnie Ayrshire tie a couple years back then at a Scotland over 50s game at Kilbirnie. Had a really decent start to the campaign but another Scottish defeat from Gartcairn brought players worth and managers back into focus , the hammering at Buffs was humbling as was losing 4 goals to Benburb. Does make you wonder why a club finishing mid table nerds to have such a radical turnover in players , why players want to move.

That is on top of the departures of Hughes , McLaren and McVey before the season was halted. Retain a core of your best players and add around them. If players see there is a game plan they will buy into it. Once again we have left new manager with little to build on slashed the budget and lowered expectations. Ferry might come in and have success but he has a big job on his hands

We may never know the true motives of Chisholm but surely he was not naive enough to believe that if this did come out there would be no repercussions. He was simply the wrong person to put forward the proposal. The advice to destroy the minutes rather than to simply disregard them adds to the conspiracy.

So can we just let the management spend the budget and not moan when they actually spend it ?. When the representative is from a club with most to gain especially financially people will always question his motives.
