  1. Absolutely no chance that's true. If it were to be 27 games it would almost certainly be that you play everybody once, then the league splits into top 10 and bottom 10 and play everybody in your half once more. Would that not be 19 plus 9 ?
  2. The SFA issue wasn't with conferences tier 6 but rather the number of teams in relation to JPP disciplinary process. SFA couldn't care less how a league is structured/formatted internally if the numbers are deemed acceptable. Well the numbers the SFA deemed acceptable with Bonnyton and 3 'promoted' clubs is a massive headache especially with so little time to get a season completed.
  3. Or they could split at the start into two conferences of 10 teams and play home and away, then play the teams in the other conference once (5 at home, 5 away), which also gives 28 games. Thought conferences were not allowed at that tier ? If the WRSJFA had went with null and void instead of PPG no clubs would have been ' promoted ' and this shambles would have been avoided.
  4. 6 , 7 or 8 teams down whatever it may be just get to 16 asap. Clubs will be desperate to get off to a good start as PPG maybe required again if we are attempting a 38 match programme just as the dark hours are a coming in October.
  5. Jeez Kennedy must believe his players are really unfit if he needs to break laws to give them a session. Surprised at him signing unfit players. Everyone is doing it says John Gall ,,,,no sir sorry not true , might be better for the club if you just remain in background.
  6. Beith played at Mains Park before buying what was known as Muir Field later renamed Bellsdale after a guy named Bell,,, surprisingly enough
  7. There was no exoneration in fact Chisholm is portrayed as being extremely naive. However he is probably cleverer than the enquiry team realise lol
  8. So even more conferences in fact conferences in top division where conferences were not supposed to be ?
  9. Like a said all along we will never know Chisholm's real motive. For the benefit of the region or benefit of his club ? Off the record we will never know how much lobbying he did beforehand. Think we can see though that stakeholders would have preferred the null and void decision to stand and the management committee although doing nothing untoward left themselves open to criticism by revoting. Good report , good read , well done. Well done Kennie fantastic praise.
  10. Things like this happen when you attempt to correct another poster ,, actually lol.
  11. Agree clubs won't vote themselves out top league or vote for less opportunity to participate in top league. They would be better getting it done next season save hassle working out lower division numbers if they don't. Am expecting strong leadership and more common sense from WOSL
  12. Ffs aye bud forgot about the 3 clubs joining the ex junior's been that long from the announcement with very little info since then . Aye 16 top division anyway surely as they are most likely to be involved in latter stages of cup comps.
  13. Get it done in a season get the conferences gone and the 4x16 divisions up and running pronto. Enough messing about
  14. You are a sick troll, pal ... plain to see ... and that doesn`t attract anyone. Thousands more read our websites than anything you will ever produce. Chew on that for a while and see how it tastes .. then look in the mirror .. Serious communication problems bud. Perhaps social media is not for you.
  15. No he decided to go. Think he realised he made a mistake coming back and struggled to live up to standards of first spell even though he finished top scorer for the sixth season. The fact he signed for one manager , played under another ( who thought putting him on the bench was productive ) and would have to renegotiate with yet another while virtually all the squad had bailed out might have impacted on his decision.
  16. I would be stunned if Kilbirnie hadn't wanted him to stay. Of course we wanted him to stay we are just not very good at keeping players we should lol. Jammer decided he was not performing to the level of his first spell and both him and club would be better parting ways. Great guy goes with best wishes and hope he scores plenty for The Candy.
  17. Kevin Watt or Callum Watt ? Is that Gray that played with Ladeside ?
  18. Another player that NEVER left Ladeside for money. It does happen though some folk would have you think otherwise. Great signing for St Roch's fantastic goalscorer.
  19. Understandable. Beith have been pretty successful lately will the fans accept perhaps not being in contention ? Will new manager suffer the backlash of a situation not of his making if things don't go as hoped on the pitch ? Millar is a big character and successful guy to replace for any manager never mind one just starting out.
  20. For somebody in the know you don't know too much then.
  21. Sheridan's contribution to Beith in recent times had been massive fantastic leader and inspiration. He WILL be missed.
  22. Not true. There were guys interested but not interviewed.
  23. Big Michael has a few seasons left injury free. Work commitments and new family could change that but don't believe he will play more than a couple seasons.
  24. Not always O'Byrne was a Swift signing and could have moved to BSC with him but chose to stay at Kilbirnie. With the amount of managers lately at the Vale to say the players played for a certain manager is wrong.
