  1. Yep I had Testicular cancer at the end of last year/start of this year but they thought they had caught it in time.... A few bursts of chemotherapy should do the trick but mentally it really does hit you hard as was really confident it was over and done with. I have to go across to Edinburgh tomorrow and Monday to discuss things before getting treatment.
  2. No Adam it's cancer... They found it in a Lymph node so will need further treatment starting from next week.
  3. Got a letter from the hospital when I got back tonight, doubt I will get much sleep tonight till I can phone them in the morning
  4. And hopefully stop calling him a half wit or she won't get any in return
  5. Half wits other half will have to ask for forgiveness when he points out she's to blame and not him
  6. The half wit checked it was working fine before he left on Sunday so will be expecting an apology when he finds it's something stupid that you are doing (or not doing) Oh and for the record it was the dvd player I hooked up not the tv and we watched dvd's at the weekend without any problems so you better prepare to grovel
  7. Yeah but we don't pretend it's a City unlike you and the Perth lot
  8. Multi Region Hack for Technika DVD-105. Switch on player and tv. Open tray. Have remote close to player. Type 3497340 as quick as poss. (speed is important. Practice a few times in advance). (The 0 is for multi-region). If it works it will appear in white lettering in l/hand corner of the tv screen. If not successful, try repeating the code several times.
  9. No they won't, you can just give them the look and they will forgive you Or does that only work on me
  10. Nah that's her parents house the cricket is living in, she's (hopefully) moving out in the next few weeks once all the work is done in the flat
  11. Had a walk up Ben Chonize today The walk itself was really nice and we managed to do it in pretty good time considering we had a few breaks (due to both of us being unfit) and the path was fairly icy in places. It was my first ever walk up a mountain but definitely won't be my last. The only downside of the walk was there was zero visibility when we got upto the summit but we did get some cracking pictures during the walk itself. On the down side......... We decided to set off early (our aim was for 8am so we could arrive around half 9) but the day didn't turn out as we had planned.... firstly had to go back to the house to turn the grill off 15 minutes after leaving the house then on the drive over we got a flat tire on the M90 (no tools in the car) but luckily AA arrived pretty quickly so we set off again after no more than 30 minutes..... We finally arrived at 11:15 which all things considered wasn't that bad On the way back we set the sat nav for Kirkcaldy but for some reason it decided to take us to Oban luckily we noticed this fairly quickly!!! the only thing is during this we were on the look-out for a petrol station as the car was running fairly low on juice and if that wasn't bad enough the Sat nav charger decided to break while we were driving through back roads so we were left with no choice but to drive to Stirling hoping to come across a petrol station rather than end up lost somewhere with no petrol and no sat nav to tell us where we were..... So all in all an eventful and tiring day Pandinus will be on shortly with a few pictures
