  1. To be fair to the Vics players of old, they had represented Selkirk since the beginning of the South Qualifying Cup that season, and reached the Scottish Cup under their own steam by reaching the semi-finals of that competition.
  2. Another shot of St Anthony's Moore Park. Ashfield's original Saracen Park, directly across the street from Perthshire's current Keppoch Park. Hard to tell from the photo whether Keppoch is a football ground or not at this time.
  3. Strange incident caught on camera here as the referee fails to spot the one handed, underarm "throw in" at 1:04 that sets up Larkhall's second goal. To be fair to the ref, I heard he did apologise after the game.
  4. Got my tickets for this today. A Friday night as well so a cracking weekend in prospect.
  5. Fred Neil - Do You Ever Think Of Me? compilation Good to relax to before heading out to work
  6. Alright MM, you probably know all about it but if you're after roots, reggae, ska mixes etc for download, check out the Balaganjah podcast. Great stuff B) EDIT to add link http://balaganjah.podomatic.com Currently listening to The Bees present 'The Sound Selection'. Interesting mix album from one of my favourite bands.
  7. Capo's on the Viewpark/Bellshill frontier is your modern-day wild west saloon.
  8. Did just about everyone in Glespin not work for the one haulage company that went bust earlier this year? The folks could be desperate.
  9. Paisley isn't the worst place by any means but anytime i'm there i always run into someone i know from years back whos life is falling apart at the seams. That's more depressing than anything. Lanarkshire is a weird place in general. My pals dads 'claim to fame' is that he's had a shite in every pub in Wishaw. Is that typical of local ambitions? Viewpark must be a contender in this thread too.
  10. While driving the A89 from Airdrie to Bathgate, i noticed that Blackridge welcomes visitors with a large sign reading 'this is a handgun free village'.
