1.

Probably never.

Update on Bloom. He got his arse handed to him on a plate by Mark Gilhaney last week. I hope that's just a one off. He was excellent last year for us to be fair, although then we were a solid defensive unit.
2. Understand your point, although to me Andy needs to win that Grand Slam event and then he really will be great.
3. Sensational match. Both players gave it everything. Murray was excellent, but this shows again that he is just that tiny bit behind Nadal. It's not much but it's the difference between a very good tennis player and a great champion. Nadal proved once again that he is the latter. The guy's a machine! I would think Murray will be pretty pleased with his performance here, especially after losing the first set on a tie break. He needs to go away and work even harder. Next year is a huge year for him, starting with the Aussie Open in January. Hope Federer gets through to the final. With that crowd we would have another classic on our hands.
4. Indeed, but this Scotland team are putting together a very impressive list of scalps. We are genuinely competitive in any game now (the peerless All Blacks excepted). Robinson is also developing a genuine squad with decent cover in most positions. The absence of Dan Parks would be the only disaster at the moment.
5. Saw Brooklyn's Finest last night. Excellent gritty New York cop drama. Violent. Very well acted. Don Cheadle, Ethan Hawke and Richard Gere all superb. Wesley Snipes looking as cool as only he can. 8/10
6. Burn After Reading - 6&1/2 / 10 Fan of the Coen Brothers and while this is not their best offering it was still enjoyable. As always the casting was spot on, especially George Clooney and Frances McDormand, plus enjoyed Brad Pitt playing against type.
7. It's a classic. Excellent acting, a taut script with a simple dilemma.
8. Has to really go for it against Fed's serve in this game.
9. Agreed. Plus he is playing probably the greatest player ever at the height of his powers.
10. Doesn't really look like he believes he is going to win. Won't beat Federer unless he steps up the aggression. His footwork is sluggish. C'mon Andy, get the finger out!
11. Yep. Lost the US Open to Federer after a rain delayed strung out semi-final victory over Nadal. He is a more mature player now and with his record against Fed he must have a chance in the final. Having said that it is Federer he is playing.....
12. And I hope you are. Although bottle it is a bit strong I agree Murray needs to start delivering more in these games. I still feel his style needs to become more aggressive if he is to go on and win multiple slams and really do his talent justice.
13. Both players showed why they are two of the all-time greats tonight. Higgins break to win was one of the best under pressure I have seen.
14. Didn't see the game yesterday but wasn't surprised at the result. We are still very ordinary, despite the fluke result against the Aussies (brilliant organisation and defence acknowledged). With the lack of quality we have in an attacking sense, it seems to me we must ALWAYS start with Chris Paterson somewhere in the team so that we can maximise points from penalties (we ain't gonna get many from tries), whether that is stand off, wing or full back. Predictions for the six nations: a typical Frank Hadden campaign, winning 1 game (either England or Italy) and er...that's it.
