The people who work in my local Corals are decent. I've seen them approach guys who have asked for money to be loaded on the machines a few times in a row - "Look, are you sure you want to do this. Maybe you should take a break.." The answer is of course always No, but they are genuinely people who hate seeing someone plough £500 in 10 minutes into a machine from their bank account, even if they do get a bonus. I've seen other bookies where the staff virtually high five each other if someone walks out a grand down. Great for the shop income stats.

Though actually here I've seen as many women in playing FOBTs than men. Often Asian women.

I liked the Dark Tower series. And I'm not a huge Stephen King fan. I don't like horrors much.Try the Trilogy I mentioned above. Omens is first, Visions second and the new one out in August is Deceptions. Its really difficult to describe. Sort of Gothic mystery/fantasy set in modern day America.
