  1. The only reason I've been signing up to most of these sites over the past month or so is to use their bonuses. I've used a referral code on every other site I signed up to, must have somehow missed Betfair.
  2. I didn't. I'd still recommend Betfair anyway, but might have to get in contact with them if I was supposed to get a free bet...
  3. Ladbrokes has the best offer right now, with 3 free £20 bets, but their odds are generally very poor, so I wouldn't really recommend them if you were planning on just using the one website. Betfair is the best place for value, but you only get their £25 free bet if your original bet loses, which is pretty cheap.
  4. Does it count as a win that I was going to stick all £30 of my current Betfair balance on Chelsea to win tonight, and decided against it?
  5. That's what I thought. Wish I'd had a real bet on it rather than a free one, tbh. This week is tough to pick in the darts. Jenkins has good odds to beat Wade, who has been horrendous for the past 3 weeks, but other than that nothing particularly good.
  6. What? Taylor was 11/10 to beat Anderson. I put a £20 Ladbrokes free bet on it, so you only get how much you win rather than the win + initial stakes back. So £22 rather than £42.
  7. Andy Murray in one of his "making someone who is really bad look really good" appearances.
  8. Portsmouth, Burnley, Swansea, and the weather. Not a good day.
  9. £20 Ladbrokes free bet on Taylor to beat Anderson, returns of £22.
  10. That match proved that Anderson really is a contender this year, though. He's always put up amazing numbers in matches that didn't matter and I was half-expecting him to really choke tonight and get battered, but he (generally) seems to be handling the pressure a lot better now. He would have got at least a draw there if Taylor didn't play a brilliant final leg. Back to winning ways in Glasgow next week.
  11. Great match. Anderson really should have earned at least a draw, he choked on Taylor's throw when he would have taken a 7-6 lead to throw for the match.
  12. Dundee/Livingston £5 double earned me £13.83. Lost another two £5 doubles though so ended up losing £1.17 overall on the day.
  13. Same. Chelsea looked so inept up front. Blackpool's defence is awful and Chelsea kept getting into great positions and then wasting it. Then Kalou skied that sitter in the last minute. RAGE.
  14. Don't take the huff about it. We're just saying, people who only post their wins... well, they're being selective, because no-one wins all the time.
  15. It's just an annoyance of mine to see people coming into this thread to brag about stuff they've won, but you've never seen them post it in the weekend betting/midweek betting threads where everyone else is said what they're going to to bet.
  16. He's right, though. You've only posted about your £200 worth of wins... what about your losses?
  17. I knew there would be someone raging about that in here. I definitely would have done if my coupon hadn't been let down by Celtic (needed a 3 goal win) and Alloa anyway. Instead I just found it funny.
  18. That was an abysmal match by Wade.
  19. £1 on 3 draws: Getafe-Atletico Madrid Real Sociedad-Levante St Johnstone-Aberdeen £35 return. Gutted that I backed out of sticking Osasuna-Deportivo on it as well, which was the plan. Would have been £132.
  20. £25 on a Deportivo-Real Madrid draw at 4/1 tonight. Won £100. I don't normally go for figures like that, but I just signed up to Victor Chandler to make use of the £25 free bet, and for some reason had a good feeling about that result, so chucked it all on there. Gonna withdraw it all and stick about £20 in my Betfair account.
  21. Good match, Lewis nearly pulled it back. Just saw Anderson won 8-1. He's on fire.
  22. Murray humped by Baghdatis in the 1st round in Rotterdam, 6-4 6-1. Started the game 3-0 then lost 12 of his next 14 games. Post-final slump again. Wonder how long this one will last.

    The Sopranos

Pine Barrens is the best episode on the show, by far. It's fantastic. The segment quoted above is hilarious. I've just finished watching through it all on DVD again. Yes, again.
