  1. Adeloye should be a more than adequate replacement. Certainly not worth sabotaging a game for. Especially when you consider the financial factor of moving the game from a Saturday to probably some Tuesday evening in February.
  2. Not sure what this even means. TJF are using £10k p/m of “their own money” to keep the club in the black just now. In addition to the £50k they contributed in the summer. Which is required because the last group of charlatans authorised a playing budget based on imaginary money and left the club in the shit.
  3. The pitch has been completely fine since QP stopped sharing with us in May 2022. Do keep up.
  4. Hospitality is sold out, so I imagine that’s a very strong incentive to do everything possible to make sure this match goes ahead.
  5. A perfect reason for why he’ll never be a HC again in the NFL. Raiders started well but Pierce & co just totally outcoached by Reid since the start of Q2.
  6. It’s almost unfathomable how continuously shite our draws are across all the cups. Years and years of miserable games.
  7. We’ll still somehow manage to draw Dundee United at home here.
  8. Oklahoma State are heavy favourites over BYU, but the other two should be good, close games.
  9. There also appears to be a lot of “deal done” type rumours around Belichick to Washington next season. That one feels more likely to me than the Chargers as a landing spot for Bill if he does leave NE.
  10. Wales players getting into scraps after the FT whistle. Lovely stuff.
  11. If last night was an audition for Brown's inclusion in the Euros squad, then he failed it. Clarke seems quite a loyal manager, and he'll probably still stick with Brown, but I didn't see anything from him last night which suggests that he merits inclusion in the final tournament squad. I'd agree with the comments above that Shankland should be ahead of him on the list, and if we do need to drop anyone to make way for the likes of Barnes, Stewart, Doak or whoever, then Brown has to be one of the main candidates to drop out of the squad.
  12. QOTSA were brilliant. They're just so tight in replicating their studio recordings, especially with songs like God Is In The Radio which must be tough to coordinate. Everyone on the same page at all times. A few surprises in there that I didn't expect them to play; Better Living Through Chemistry and Sick Sick Sick back to back was a joy. Opening with No One Knows was unexpected as well, and then ending with 3 crackers from SFTD. Couldn't have asked for much more. As per the chat above, "top tier" it most certainly was.
  13. I heard that Ben Williamson has signed a pre-contract with us beyond his loan ending in January. Have to admit I’m not sure if this is accurate, seeing as that would mean his contract with Rangers would be due to expire in the winter instead of the summer, which seems unlikely for a player at Rangers - but just what I heard from what I would call a reliable source. Additionally, if this is true, I don’t know whether such a pre-contract with us would just be until the end of this season or for longer.
  14. He reminds me of when Lewis Mayo first came to us. He’s very raw but you can definitely see there’s talent there. He made a few mistakes early on, but has been generally reliable in the past few games. I’d guess he’ll play just about every game now, barring injury, so would expect him to continue getting better.
  15. Jack Jones unexpectedly became available and they had to release someone to make room for him. Unfortunate, but not really anyone's fault. Unless you argue that teams shouldn't run good news stories about fringe roster players, I guess.
  16. Following the Chargers must be the most incredibly exasperating experience in all of sports fandom.
  17. I know he didn’t play yesterday, but I’ve always wondered the same thing about Robbie Muirhead and Thistle. He was a mediocre player for us who had one exceptional game, and left without anybody really caring, but he absolutely hates us and will take every possible opportunity to get it up the fans. Much like Graham with yourselves, for whatever reason. Speaking of anger, rammies, etc - Jack Baird. Not sure if I’ve just never noticed it from him before and he’s always like that, but he was raging at everything yesterday. Storming about the pitch picking fights with everyone. Fair enough with his reaction to Fitzpatrick’s dive (which did look like a dive), but he was seething long before that incident.
  18. In the last decade, I’m struggling to think of (m)any better signings. I think he’s surpassed Tomas Cerny as the king of the WUMs, and in terms of actual contribution on the pitch he’s right up there as well. Other big contributors - Higgy, Taylor, Cerny, the return of Erskine. Graham has arguably outperformed any of them, albeit they were all in the top flight whereas he’s unfortunately never experienced that with Thistle.
  19. Alan Muir today had one of the most impotent, gormless, clown car performances I can ever remember from a referee. An utterly worthless individual who seemed miles out of his depth. Not too much to say about the game that hasn’t already been said. A game that was very low in quality, which we narrowly scraped by showing slightly more quality in attacking areas than Greenock Morton. Lovely finish from Alston to decide it, which I’m absolutely convinced he meant, in spite of greetin’ faced Dougie’s objections. It’s the first thing he’s done in 3 months as a Thistle player, but fair play to him for it.
  20. Not sure about the figures involved, but they definitely submitted a transfer bid for him in the summer which was rejected.
  21. If McMillan is fit and ready to play then he has to start. He’s the best RB in the league and vital to how we play.
