  1. Our defence has been a shambles all season. The manager has to learn from this seasons mistakes! The Cup Final was embarrassing and the manager had no response to Hibs targeting Tavernier.

Middle of the park is fine and having Forrester fit and ready to go will be a huge boost. He and McKay could be stars in this league

Still not convinced Waghorn is good enough to be our out and out forward. Miller will be a year older.

I would love us to sign Rodgers from Aberdeen. He was outstanding every time I saw him for Falkirk. I have a feeling though that the manager actually rates Foderingham and any Keeper he bring in will be backup

As far as away fans go. Could not care less. As long as we drastically the Celtic allocation and give them the corner and no more

Why would you want us getting the corner & no more? You do realise this would result in your fans being given a similar allocation for Paradise. You tried throwing your weight about on that front with both Hibs & Motherwell & look how it worked out for you. Are you really wanting to repeat those same mistakes?

Mind you, might work out for the best...at least if we take the full Broomloan then you know we're good for the ticket money. You lot however...

  2. I'm guessing that, if Boro pay his wages, it frees up a wage for a new player, mibbe?

I'd expect that to be a given...plus a loan fee but if that is the case is the fee sufficient enough to get a replacement in for him?

When we signed Scott Allan, we gave them Liam Henderson on loan as a direct replacement....plus we agreed to continue paying Henderson's wages. I rate Henderson as good if not better than Allan so all in all they got a great deal. Cash plus a player for free for the next season. Are Hearts getting anything out of this deal to make it worth their while?

I understand not having a player at the club who wants to move on, but surely it's got to be to the benefit of the club first...& maybe it is...but I've not read anything to suggest it is.

  3. What's the story with Jordan McGhee?

Only read the articles in the media & I know the lad wanted to move there after a deal broke down in Jan, but is this not a daft move by the club. Should they not not be telling Boro to either sign him up on a permanent deal or to forget any deal?

I mean going by Neilsons comments, he's only going down to be part of their development squad so why send him on loan for a year? It deprives Hearts of the player.

Maybe someone can shed more light on this that makes this seem sense but just seems a daft move to me.

  4. Group stage for any of the Europa League teams is still a massive ask. We'll draw a Sociedad level team and that'll be that.

Our clubs have done well against some decent calibre of clubs though. Aberdeen v Gronigen, St Johnstone v Rosenborg. It can be done.

Look at Leicester & Iceland. Got to start having a real go at these teams and achieving something for Scottish football.

  5. Good post. As was pointed out earlier, the expectation is on my club, Celtic getting into the CL group stage. I'm also hoping at least one other club can make the EL group stage. Realistically expecting Hearts or Aberdeen to be favourites to achieve this. Pressure is off Hibs given the draw they got but NL pulled off some good results with Celtic in the CL & I'm hopeful they can do something too.

  6. People in trains: When you sit at a 'table' seat, your allocated legroom is approximately half the width of the table, so that the punter who sits opposite has the remaining half of space. Stretching your legs out so they're almost touching the other side when someone sits opposite is ignorant as fúck.

    This is all.

Aye that does my head in too. It's as bad as the person that sits next to you and spills over the arm rest....wankers.

On a similar note I also hate it when I go into McDonalds, KFC etc with the good lady and the kids and after getting served you look for a table only to see one selfish fucker sat at a table by theirself when there is a single seat sat empty next to them.

Or when you can see people sat there knowing there are no tables seats to be had and that you have a young family and your food is getting cold...yet they sit there having finished their meal and want to drag the last few dregs out their drink instead of just walking out and finishing it.

I also hate it when people see you looking/waiting for a table to sit at when your with the kids and they get up and walk away leaving their trays and rubbish on the table instead of putting it in the bin. Meaning you have to shove it over with the tray to get yours down and then clean the table of their shit so you and the kids can eat your food. Selfish b*****ds...aaarrrrgggghhhh!!!!

  7. Ladies night at the leisure centre.

Me and my mate fancied a swim, so headed over to the leisure centre. Isn't this a bit sexist? I don't see a "Mens Night". I assume it's for all the birds who are embarrassed about their weight to be with others like themselves and don't feel concerned and that, but it's quite bad to close the whole pool and fitness area.

Does my bloody head in too. I used to often want to go to the gym and when finished go in to the Health Suite (Sauna, Jacquzzi & Steam Room)...with access to the pool. I'd go all the way down to the Leisure Centre only to find it's womans morning, meaning wasted trip for me.

Like you say it's sexist. If they don't like people looking at them due to their weight then join one of the ladies only gyms and give the rest of us peace.

  8. 1.Someone phones you but you just miss the call

2.You try and phone back but it's engaged, presumably because they're still on your answer phone or they're trying to call you again.

3.They try and phone you back whilst you're trying to phone them so it's engaged.

4.Both of you decide to leave it for a minute presuming the other person is going to call

5.They don't call so both of you decide to try and phone the other person, at the same time again.

This loop can be repeated a fair few times before you actually get to talk to one another.

On the same themse I hate it when you phone somebody a few times and they obviously see missed calls and they never bother calling you back. Then when you meet up and they whinge that you didn't call to ask them if they wanted to join you at the pub or go to the football etc etc...even though it was THEM that didn't return the call.

Or people who never phone you but then complain that you don't keep in touch with THEM

  9. First time posting on this thread so given how many posts there are I'm sure these will have been covered.

I hate walking down the road with the kids and having to avoid dog shit. I mean it's worse when you see the owners just walking along and letting their dogs shit everywhere...be it pavements, parks or football pitches. They don't give two fucks about who else is supposed to enjoy and use that space...so long as their do shits.

I hate those other selfish fuckers....smokers. Well not the smokers themselves really. However those ones that refuse to give up smoking on public places. Seen people do it on the bus, in pubs, in a lift and it seems traditional for them to continue doing it at the football in the toilets and on the terraces. They don't care about the youngsters lungs being polluted. They don't care that the person sat next to them could suffer from asthma etc. Selfish b*****ds

I hate those wee neds that will quite happily come out of school and despite adults being there at the bus stop they quite openly graffiti the signs and shelter etc. Being 32yrs old I'm too old to be giving the wee fuckers the kicking I think they need....but boy is it tempting.

Spitters, those ones who just spit for the sake of spitting and think it's cool. Again the bus stop is a bad place...your stood there waiting and within 5 mins the ground is covered in it and you have to watch were your stepping.

    Junkies

That'll do for now and gets me off and running.

  10. There were plenty of faces like that in the away end yesterday. ;)

Was going to say there were plenty of faces like that in the away end last week...but with the pishy away support there were hardly any faces like that in the away end last week :P

    ;)

  11. You've used an awfy lot of :bairn's

Are you a St Mirren fan in disguise?

Felt like it yesterday. Was even gonna start whinging about the referee and how we get nothing against them :P.

I'm just hoping that there is somebody with a worse hard luck story with their coupon from the weekend so I don't feel quite so bad :P

  12. I usually do the old football coupon every week and stick a cheeky wee £10 split over the 3 different lists. The long list, Section List & Mini Section List at Willie Hills.

On the long list I try to get the 4 draws and this is me smallest stake as you get great guarenteed odds. Took

    Swindon 1 v 1 MK Dons

    Airdrie 4 v 4 Livingston 4

    QoS 1 v Morton 1

then the last one was Inverness v Falkirk and you find that useless fucker Djebi-Zadi goes and gives away a penalty for as Sky sports text puts it '...a shocking first-half lapse in judgement'

My £2 stake there would have won me £243.71 :bairn:

Then on one the other two sections I took Celtic but as is to be expected on the 'Sections List' with more teams I got let down by Celtic and Queen of the South who I thought may sneak it so I kinda hedged my bet.

My £4 stake there would have won me £412.30 :bairn:

On the mini section I do to re-coup your total stake and maybe just win a few quid I took Celtic, Man U, Derby & Wolves and it had to be celtic that let me down.

£4 stake would have won me £53.78 :bairn:

Not a good weekend. Getting pumped oot the cup and losing out on some good dosh from small stakes that were so close but yet so far. Could drive a man to drink :bairn: :bairn: :bairn:
