It's absolutely mental that the past few years we've seen various clowns in charge and folk defending how dreadful we've been and yet lo and behold we get an actual manager in, give him a summer to build a squad and here we are.

I'm 40 and think he's the best manager in my lifetime. Only Brown comes close.

Think a lot of folk are overreacting. Hamilton are a very good L1 side, as are we, and we matched them in a game played in horrible conditions where the bounce and run of the ball were totally unpredictable.

The two best teams in the league pretty much just cancelling each other out for 90 minutes. Nothing more or less than that.

Our penalty was for handball. At the time it looked like a clean tackle which is why I was surprised it was given. But on the replay you can see it hits the defender's arm quite obviously.

Obviously you can't compare the standard, but this is a genuinely fun, entertaining team to watch. Maybe not quite as up there as 02/03 or 04/05 but it's great that folk are enjoying going to the fitba again.

Montrose have done well. Probably the best side I've seen us against this season. But we still look like the better team and deserve to be in front. Equaliser well deserved but did not look like a penalty to me.

Watched the highlights again last night and just thinking again about how that is easily a game we draw or even lose over the last couple of years. To have the dig to keep going until the last few minutes is great. Signings this year have been spot on. Spencer is brilliant.

I don't disagree, but that doesn't change what I said being correct. My opinion of Yogi has mellowed considerably over the years, but I do believe that we achieved what we did mostly in spite of him rather than because of him. When Latapy retired he looked completely lost.
