  1. In every school I've ever taught at it's been Sir or Miss.
  2. It's exponentially worse. Back then phones were little more than bricks. Now they are mini computers with apps explicitly designed by people much cleverer than you or I to be addictive and time-sucking.
  3. Yeah this is an objectively terrible idea.
  4. I was saying on Saturday as well I think that *if* we go unbeaten this season it's a far, far greater achievement than when New Rangers did it ten years ago at the same level.
  5. I don't think any of us are taking anything for granted. For me on Saturday I was the most nervous I can remember being at a game for many, many years.
  6. I used to teach him. He's a good lad. He was on the bench for a game against Edinburgh (I think?) a few months ago. I've been trying to keep an eye out for him.
  7. Was a lad called Cameron McNab playing in either game?
  8. Some of the absolute leaps in logic over the past couple of pages man Our player is about three inches from nearly decapitating someone and folk are giving it the ol' "man's game" and "back in the day they'd have settled that with a firm handshake" nonsense. It's as clear a red card as you're ever going to see and it remains so regardless of whether there was intent or not.
  9. This is a completely mental stuff. Not checking your blind spot isn't an accident. It's negligence.
  10. The second part of this paragraph answers perfectly why the first part of your paragraph would never work. You'd have some absolutely horrific leg breakers and as soon as the player says "I didn't mean it" they'd get off Scot-free. Totally unworkable.
  11. Yep. It's an absolute shame that he'll miss the last two games though. Easily our most improved player this season. He's been excellent.
  12. At the risk of being 'that guy', the 'getting the ball first' isn't in the Laws at all. It was clearly accidental, but it's as clear a red card as you're ever going to see. Whether or not it was a red card 50 years ago is pretty irrelevant.
  13. Highlights would definitely suggest it was his upper chest rather than the face that Coll kicked but it's still a red.
  14. Highlights up. Astonishing camera work there for the first goal
  15. Ach calm doon. I was just making a quip that conceding two goals isn't quite holding firm!
  16. I said on the other thread that the folk blaming Hogarth are just waiting on him to make a mistake so they can jump all over him. There isn't a goalkeeper in the world who would have been expecting that pass back to where it went.
  17. I mean, to me (and others) it looked like he booted him in the face, not the chest
  18. Yeah that's what it looked like to me. Accidental or not you just can't do that.
  19. Anyone with a better view of the red card able to confirm what did / didn't happen?
  20. There is literally no goalkeeper in the world would have been expecting that dreadful backpass. Genuinely no idea how anyone can blame Hogarth unless they're actively looking for him to make a mistake so they can pounce on him
  21. I will absolutely bite your hand off for a draw today
