  1. ah yes , 20 pages on and some folk still want to bang on about neglect Time for me to go back to ignoring this sorry arsed thread I think
  2. If they did do it they did a fantastic job of disposing of the body and any evidence in such a short space of time to the point where three months later two police forces have found absolutely bugger all.
  3. With the press speculating that DNA is the key then I would've thought that ruled out the parents themselves. Which will come as a blow to some folk on here (and hey , I know I said I'd leave this thread alone)
  4. Led Zeppelin's first album , surely the boldest most draw-droppingly awesome debut album ever - and since I'm the only one in the house IT'S F'KIN LOUD , I haven't listened to this in ages and it's like a flashback .. er trip ( ) back in time , nearly creamed myself when "I can't quit you baby came on" and I still think that "how many more times" sounds like a fat bloke struggling to walk down hill Takes me back to when I was young free and single , my wages were like pocket money and my mate and I would get 'f'cked' and go through the 'stages' .... the night usually finished with 'The Wall' .... as it was intended Happy Days I'm off to Italy tomorrow .... f'ck you all
  5. The press have really gone to town on this guy and already have him hung , drawn and quartered , It's not entirely clear what the police have on him other than that he looks a bit shifty (he's got a glass eye you know ) but the press have certainly gone totally OTT on him given that he's not even under arrest . He seems to be just a bit of a fanny who thought he was helping out
  6. The key's are still in the locks ... our doors don't have any windows that someone could smash and then use the keys You've hit on a subject close to my heart though , I sometimes leave for work just after 5am and need to remove the key from the inside before I can lock the door from the outside ... If I can't find a second key I'd never take the 'original' one thinking Mrs Ned could just use the back door , I post they key back through (Does that make sense )
  7. Seems perfectly reasonable to me - especially with the baby monitors . Things are certainly different these days , I collected Ned Jnr from Nursery earlier as you would expect but I'll also collect my seven year old daughter from school later ... a journey I made on my own when I was five ! And when our kids are in bed the doors are locked , it's something we started doing after that little girl was snatched from her bath last year !
  8. Heinz broke into the laboratory and stole the drug. The next day, the newspapers reported the break-in and theft. Brown, a police officer and a friend of Heinz remembered seeing Heinz last evening, behaving suspiciously near the laboratory. Later that night, he saw Heinz running away from the laboratory. Should Brown report what he saw? Why or why not?
  9. let me ask you a couple of questions : A woman was near death from a unique kind of cancer. There is a drug that might save her. The drug costs $4,000 per dosage. The sick woman's husband, Heinz, went to everyone he knew to borrow the money and tried every legal means, but he could only get together about $2,000. He asked the doctor scientist who discovered the drug for a discount or let him pay later. But the doctor scientist refused. Should Heinz break into the laboratory to steal the drug for his wife? Why or why not?
  10. I think I could quite happily draw a line between shooting people and leaving kids unattended Understand
  11. It's a strange thread this , and one which has made me shake my head more and more , I don't know if it's an age thing , a gender thing or perhaps just a parental thing but some folk just can't seem to be able to let go of the fact that these parents f'cked up . It reminds me a little , and hell I know it's not a comparable tale before I get it rammed down my throat , but - there's a test on moral development that kids answer differently depending in their powers of reasoning about a fella who steals expensive drugs to save his dying wife - many kids just simply cannot see past the point that stealing is bad ! not the same but making me think
  12. I'll wager they didn't even wake up , Ned Jnr's 4 and once he's asleep you can pretty much do anything around the house and he'll sleep right through it ... he does , however , have some sort of 'Nookie Radar' that kicks in around the same time as Mrs Ned's wine does I have to say I find myself regularly checking news channels for updates to this story .
  13. This is the first time I've read this thread and I must say I'm a bit surprised at the general tone , I doubt anything said would be news to these parents , I reckon they've got a wee inckling that they f'ked up , they've probably mulled it over a few times over the last couple of days I really can't possibly imagine just how terrifying this must be for them , it doesn't bear thinking about , and to know all along that things could've been so different I was on holiday a few years ago where a couple left their kids in the room at night whilst they came down for a drink , we sat with a buggy in tow 24/7 and told them that we couldn't do it , they checked every 20 minutes or so ... just to see if the kids had woken or were crying ... not to see if someone had jemmied the shutters open and abducted one of them ! I guess the culprit (either a paedophile or a 'wanabe' mum) was working or staying in the complex and had spotted that little girl during the day and had then noticed what the parents were doing at night ... in that case , the very act of checking on the kids showed the way
  14. I just went to the Klondyke Garden Centre in Grangemouth to get a new strimmer but discovered that they don't do strimmers or lawn mowers they do a decent line in Easter Eggs though (10% off day at Homebase - saved £3 )

  16. there was a bit of a buzz going round Falkirk last week after a 'mystery couple' won 4.5m on the lottery with a ticket they'd bought in Tescos in the towns retail park ... great stuff , and you'd generally be happy for them to ! anyhoo - just flicking through The Sun at work here and there they are !!!!! - Bob and May Worgan from Falkirk ..... celebrating their win with champagne at Ibrox whilst decked out on manky blue arseholes
