  1. There's definitely some people who still have their noses out of joint over the crossbar snapping, badge killing and various other provocations. I agree with your position.
  2. I think some Ayr fans have a bit more animosity towards Airdrie than is entirely necessary, but it's still been fun to keep beating them this year. Kept me going through the last dark days of the Bullen regime.
  3. Need to time the announcements right for maximum vibes just as we hit the 40 point mark.
  4. Just have to hope this isn't a big knock for Tomlinson's confidence
  5. Ugh, can't be conceding against wee teams like Airdrie.
  6. Every time Brown is asked about his philosophy he starts by talking about the press, so maybe Chalmers hasn't shown up well on that side of things in training.
  7. I don't think that lineup is too bad. Looks to me like Brown wants some of the attacking width to come from the fullbacks. I'd expect us to target the wide areas rather than trying to play through the middle. Interested to see how it plays out.
  8. Wherever it is, it’s clear they haven’t gone for a subtle approach
  9. Money was the fall guy who got handed a poisoned chalice when Bill Barr stopped funding the team and Dalziel left. It's not really a fair comparison to Stainrod who, though he was pre-megabucks, still wasn't in charge for a planned contraction like Money.
  10. I was at that game and I was convinced the ref gave those penalties because he was so annoyed at the abuse he was getting from the crowd. I'm sure there was a report around that time that Somerset was one of the grounds that referees least liked to officiate at.
  11. First reaction: oh god, not him Second reaction: most of them are as bad as each other
  12. I have no context to know whether that stat is good or bad.
  13. Important that the results start to come through, to maintain the good feeling. Really pleased with his work so far.
  14. Think Chalmers will be best in games where we have a lot of the ball. He's got a big role to play the rest of the way.
