Tic prices are only going to go in one direction. The doubling of min wage in the past 14yrs is one reason you'll never see a drop in tics.
Are you telling me the affordable ticket prices of the past were generated by exploiting workers?

Maybe once they realise all the new revenue opportunities from the construction projects they can use the surplus to reduce ticket prices!

So is there a specific significance, beyond the 40th anniversary, that might have gone into the design choice?

Sorry to butt in...
Perhaps the club is thinking that people that can buy a 5-year ticket may be inclined to have a wee treat in hospitality every now and then, as they're not paying for their ticket that season?
I'd be advertising to the people that do this offering 'special rates' for tables, etc every season.
Get money off them twice!
That would require more joined up thinking than we've seen from the club's marketing team so far. Maybe they'll get there though.

For context
It bounces right in front of the keeper. You'd love him to hold it or push it somewhere safe, but keepers at all levels lose goals like this from time to time.

could that be McAllister season done assuming the red card was for "Violent Conduct" if it was the arm that was the reason
You'd think an appeal would succeed

Am I right in saying that if Dunfermline beat Inverness next week then we’re safe?
Yes. Even if we lose next week we're safe unless Inverness get at least a point AND Queen's Park win

Hard not to be encouraged with the performances Brown is delivering. Only thing preventing more optimism is that we have no way to know how recruitment will go in the summer. I'm hopeful.

only good thing was Queens Park not winning meaning they have to win their last 2 and need us to lose our last two
And even if that happens then Inverness still need to get four points as well

That red card was farcical and probably cost us a result. Frustrating.

Have a feeling we're either going to sneak a result up here today or get absolutely pumped..

I think a good summer in terms of recruitment would to a large extent the concerns that people have expressed. It was pretty depressing last summer to see targets we had gone after end up at other clubs in the same division. It is also very clear to neutrals that we have a general lack of quality throughout the squad - when we were missing any of Murphy, Chalmers or Dowds it was never good to watch.
Budget doesn't solve these things magically (look at Falkirk for the last few years or Aberdeen now) but I don't think Smith will have succeeded in the business side of the rebuilding of the club until we have a squad that is on paper in the top three in the division. At that point whether we achieve the aim of getting promotion will depend on the manager, coaches and players since he will have done his bit.
The dream scenario is building a club which is self sustaining and resilient, so that it can thrive for the foreseeable future without relying on the contribution of any one specific coach, executive or player. I'm sure I've read that Brighton is the model they've looked at most closely and that seems a sensible choice.

The football on the pitch does need to improve, but so does the infrastructure. It’s not like we’ve been great without the distraction of having a new stand being built. I’m willing to put up with at least one more season of dreariness if the investments off the park result in improvements off it over time.

On the new north terrace stand. I’ve been going to Somerset Park for over 50 years and in that time the only ground development I have seen have been the family stand, the seggie fence, new floodlights and some toilets replaced. Believe me this development is a big deal.
Agreed, I just wish the chairman and the club didn't come across as being so pleased with themselves about it. Just personal taste, I guess.

Pure pish they are talking, he was on a 2 year deal. Undoubtedly meant Amartey who was only signed on a one year deal with an option.
How is it possible to confuse these two completely dissimilar players though?

Got this awful feeling there’s a few more twists and turns left in this season and not in our favour.
This seems borderline paranoid, especially coming off a 5-0 win.

Just have to hope it's being done strategically by the club and not as a way of dumping responsibility onto a third party.
