The team wasn't quite like that. Bowman (he was badly at fault for the first goal and looked dodgy throughout) Duffie Kingsley Wallace Scobbie Murdoch Trialist (didn't look too great really) Millar Trialist (took his goal well and he looked very impressive) Higginbotham Trialist (didn't get involved at all) We made 9 subs at half time with the likes of Compton, McManus and Alston coming on. Wallace and Bowman both lasted around 70 minutes before coming off. There was no sign of Dods, Twaddle or Flynn.

I assume it was a 2 for 1 deal? Surely the only way that useless c**t could get a move to such a team. Good luck to Mark Stewart I'm sure he'll be able to bang them in down there. Also good luck to Boaby good to see him get signed up so quickly as well.

Good luck to Carl if indeed he signs for St. Johnstone. I too am a bit surprised at him signing for an SPL team considering his pitiful goals return last season but I was one of the few to really rate him and to want to keep him on for next season so I hope everything works out for him. Speaking of that useless c**t does anyone know if he's signed or training with anyone yet? Not a fucking chance. He's nowhere even close to being good enough for the Championship. Good news if true yet more wages saved.

Yep. He loves to try his long range passes but the vast majority of the time he fails miserably. The less we mention his shooting 'ability' the better. This. He's really quite shit.

Yeah as Welshbairn said he signed a 2 year deal so unfortunately we're stuck with the useless c**t for another season. Who knows though he might actually be able to go 90 minutes without getting a booking next season.

If indeed that would be the case I'd much rather we'd have kept Finnigan. He was our only attacking player to carry any sort of aerial threat and if we don't replace that then we'll miss it big time next season.

Whilst that would've been a poor return anyway he actually only scored 5 goals last season which is fucking terrible. Edit: Just realised I was only looking at his League/League and Scottish Cup stats and have no idea how many goals he scored in the Challenge Cup. Still 5 goals in 30 games in they competitions is quite shit.

All I know is that he's a 17 year old striker that trained with our first-team in pre-season but was never involved with a first-team squad all season. Does seem a bit of an odd signing for Stirling.

Nope Boaby was dropped for the post-split games for Supple to keep Jim Magilton happy. Boaby was in some amazing form that season until Yogi shat on him and he completely lost all his confidence and he's not looked the same since.

It's a strange one with Boaby but I really think all he would need is a better goalkeeping coach in to help him as his shot stopping is still as good as ever but his kicking and communication has gotten worse over the last few years. Am I the only one that really didn't rate Glennon? Aside from that game at EEP I didn't think he was up to much at all. Speaking of our former 'keepers I always felt Lambers was hugely under-rated. *shudder* ButterFlinders is a disgraceful excuse for a 'keeper. I didn't think it was possible to find someone worse than that Australian diddy Higgins but somehow Yogi managed it.

Baffling decision to let all 3 of our 'keepers go surely it would've made sense to keep one of Barclay/Andrews as back-up? Terrible decision to release McManus as well he should've been one of the first to get offered a new deal. I don't think much of Barclay either and certainly think that Andrews is the better 'keeper and I imagine that they would be our 2 options for next season.

I'm pretty much the same although I'm sure the majority of our support will be happy to see the back of him. I only hope that we bring in a striker in the summer with a bit of aerial presence to replace him. With Boaby leaving and Barclay presumably staying what's been the point of keeping him on the bench the last few weeks? Surely we should've had him in the team and getting him as much experience as possible.
