From a Raith perspective I’m vaguely hoping for a Partick win that might derail Airdrie’s current momentum. Other than that can you expect too much from 2 teams who will be playing each other in the playoffs in a few weeks?

This has all the intensity of a pre season game , not 2 playoff bound teams.

Obviously hoping for a home win here , is Oakley back yet?

Got to say in all seriousness I find both the Raith and Dunfermline fans on here to generally be very good. You're all saints compared to the Inverclyde and Ayrshire bangers.
In the spirit on being nice, despite them not bringing the most the Airdrie supporters have been probably the most vocal at away fans at Starks Park this season. Probably could have done without the “One Ian Murray” chant though!

Despite us taking 7 points so far against Partick all the games have been close and I’d expect this one to be fairly even as well. How Murray approaches this one might depend on what happens at Cappielow the night before, especially if United lose. (Spoiler , they won’t)

Well , that was pish.
(Finishing 3-2 Rovers obviously)

The way we are playing this could be an absolute doing

Hate to say it but that finish was quality

The Network seems fine now. I'm hoping night 2 is significantly better than night 1.
Night 2 WAS significantly better than night 1. There wasn’t a single dud and even though it was preposterously booked at the end the main event was fantastic.
“I love professional wrestling”
”Pro wrestling is back”
“Pro wrestling is beautiful”
Lines that never would have been said under the previous management

The team needs to have grit and determination, able to stop Airdrie playing through us. Every game against them this season has been disgusting to watch from a Rovers perspective. This has to be gritty not flashy.
I'd go
Dabrowski
J. Brown Watson Murray Dick
Byrne
Mullen Brown Matthews Connolly
Hamilton
A solid team to start the game with natural footed players on the wings.
Gives us Easton, Smith, Stanton, Vaughan and Rudden to bring on. I hope to never see Turner on the pitch again. He's been useless.
It's a pity that Ashcroft isn't back as I'd like to have seen this;
Dabrowski
Ashcroft. Watson. Murray
Mullin Byrne Matthews Dick
Brown Stanton
Hamilton
Again having Vaughan, Smith Rudden, Easton and Connolly.
That's an extremely tough midfield and a midfield I feel could dominate and create chances.
I thought Turner was decent against Partick Thistle a few weeks ago, so it’s possible he will be dropped for Tuesday and start on Saturday.

Even if we do win this one there is a good chance we will meet Airdrie in the playoffs. With that in mind I'm hoping for a much better performance that we've had against them so far this season. In particular the game in the Challange Cup was about as one sided a 1-0 win can be.

Now we are up to 17 one goal wins. 3 more from 5 games for the record outright.

Just don't see Becky winning this one.

Thoughts on James Brown?Would you have him for next season if available?
Think he’s been a 7/10 most weeks. We do miss Millen going forward but Brown has helped make the defence more solid since he came in.
He put in a cracking cross in the 2nd half today as well.
He’s been a good loan signing for me.
Probably depends on what division we are in. If it’s the championship then he would probably be fine. I’d still prefer Millen but he be gone.

Another 1 goal victory! By my calculations that is 94% of our wins by this margin.

Did he actually make a challenge? I’m not entirely sure…
From my angle it looked like a penalty but Easton definitely made the most of it.

Up until the goal it was a pretty meh first half, the wind is making it unplayable at times.

Wow , take a bow Dylan Easton

The orrock quarry road (b9157) was closed due to flooding today, for anyone coming in from the south or west.
A wee bit longer to come in the A92 and down Oriel Road, but might be easier.
I came in that way , I think it was still meant to be shut but the signs were blown over. I wouldn’t recommend anyone driving that way home.

To all the ‘glass half’ empty rovers fans. Ffs! To the majority of rovers fans, can’t wait to beat you on Saturday but what a season youve had. After we beat you on Saturday you can still win the league. If not, you are in the semi final playoffs. To the glass half emptys, fancy swapping positions with Ayr? Thought not.
This time last season we were in Ayr’s position and proceeded to not win a game for the rest of the season. Personally this season has been a fantastic time to be a Rovers fans. So many good moments and we are still in the title race.
