  1. I am! And wear whatever you want man...seen plenty of football tops over the years.
  2. That's right, it's the day I come back from Download.
  3. Co-headline tour with Alestorm no less. Glasgow is the 3rd March in the Barras
  4. Avengers 2: Age of Ultron - 2/10 Didn't work for me. The story was poor, the new characters were underused and the "one liners" were absolutely flat.

    Red Dwarf X

Looking forward to this. Series X was pretty good overall - after the shambles that was Back to Earth

  8. In stoner rock related news, Orange Goblin are playing King Tut's on December 15th
  9. Anyone into their stoner rock? Recently came across a Greek outfit called Nightstalker who are absolutely fantastic!
  10. Yeah you should be able to force the OTA update by now. I got Lollipop 5.0 a few months ago on the HTC.
  11. Aye, sorry. That's right. I should have maybe been more clear about that
  12. Shame the new carrier is also Three. As far as I know you can't transfer PAC from and to the same network else you would be able to skip the PayG tesoc mobile part, but yeah, what you've said there is correct. You'll need to temporarily switch to Tesco or someone other than 3. Seems daft doesn't it?
  13. Perfectly fine. I've transfered my PAC a few times from Vodafone>O2>Tesco. Just get your PAC code when cancelling your contract and when your new phone comes contact your new carrier and give them the PAC code to transfer over for you. (usually takes about 12 hours).
  14. I'm such a wean, i'm choking for a new phone even though I only got my M8 a year ago.... Finding myself starting to struggle with mobile data. I only have a 2GB allowance, which is a pittance compared to todays standard. It used to be more than enough when I was using the works WiFi but since i've moved site i've not been able to . I might weigh up the option to buy out my contract (only need to pay the outstanding phone balance rather than the whole monthly tarrif) and get a sim only and beef up my allowances. Depending on how it works out....hmmm

  16. Heard hood things about the Galaxy Alpha. Cant say I know much about it or the specs though
  17. Have a wee read at tech radars post from MWC15. http://www.techradar.com/news/phone-and-communications/mobile-phones/mwc-2015-what-we-want-to-see-1268443 Also worth noting that the OnePlusTwo will be out sometime this year maybe in the summer if that floats your boat as I know a few on here have the OnePlusOne. Networks are all the same these days, most provide the same coverage but always worth checking before committing to a contract and you don't get a signal in your own home shop around for the best possible deal. Don't see the point in being loyal to a network if you can keep your number without any hassle. Heard 3 have great data deals though!
  18. 1. Slayer 2. Megadeth 3=Iron Maiden 3=Metallica 3=Lamb of God
  19. The girlfriend and I have picked up our Sunday (pick a year) movie thing again; (1989) Turner & Hooch - 8/10. Standard Sunday viewing. Essential 80s family movie (1989) Stephen King's Pet Sematary - 4/10. Cult film but I couldn't really be arsed with it being honest. (1987) Predator - 9/10. Absolute classic Arnie, could watch this over and over. (1987) Robocop - 7/10. A favorite of mine when growing up, but never realised how f*cking brutal it is at times. A bit hammy but a classic nonetheless
  20. Was thinking the same on both points. It kind of seems like Samsung have taken a step backwards, their edge over the competition was the removable battery/card slot/IP rating which has all been stripped. They've effectely made an iPhone. Both Samsung and HTC have launched VR headsets, interesting to see where that goes. Gaming could become a lot more serious on the mobile platform. I don't really know where the manufacturers can really go from this point in terms of handset hardware, all the bells and whistles now come in app form and 'wearable tech' is growing considerably. Let's say......"lazers". We need lazers.
  21. I know what you mean there isn't much of a difference, not aesthetically anyway apart form moving the power button and volume rockers, but i'm happy with the design tbf. Memory isn't really a probably though because it's expandible. Samsung hadn't been announced yet, but checked it out this morning. That curved screen looks a touch of class. I see they've ditched the cheap looking plastic covers and went for a metal frame with glass back (at the expense of losing its IP rating). I've never been a fan of Samsung dating back to when I had a Samsung Toco ( ). TouchWiz, at the time was f*cking horrific and i've had a shot of the Galaxy models and still can't really get on board with it. Surprised they havn't really upgraded their speakers as I think that is one of the thing HTC is crushing at the moment with their Boomsound. Also surprised they got rid of the MicroSD slot...
  22. HTC M9 conference today. Looks fairy similar to the M8 but packed with some very decent hardware upgrades. Snapdragon 810 (octocore) being one, 3gb Ram and an impressive camera on the rear. Looks class.
