Queens absolutely miles ahead of us well beaten deserved to be more more should have had a penalty too. 2nd,3rd and 4th goal are embarrassing to concede hoti terrible free kick and shitbag tackle in the queens half is equally embarrassing.
we are stinking this season
I don’t mind us being poor, we have been poor in the past, but the complete lack of energy and desire from some players, was there for all to see

You were decent, we were garbage.
A fair result
They were more than decent, always on the move, first instinct was to look forward, with that front 3, a joy to watch

Not sure what you mean?Don't see any reason why signing a striker would mean McKenna has to drop out
Never said McKenna would drop out, thinking more of Allan

In fairness the wind was probably just as you would say a north sea breeze.
Gas. has also perfected his NSB kicking technique.
Anyway as always review of the highlights will clarify what I thought I saw from what happened.
To be fair the wind rarely blows that direction, normally the wind blows in the other way

Had high hopes for Tait after his debut at Cappielow, but it's been downhill since then. As for Allan - the style in which our team performs best and the style in which Allan performs best seem to be at polar opposites of the footballing spectrum.
Problem we are going to have if we bring in a striker is, they're is not going to be a place in the side for both him and McKenna, as for Tait, just looks lost

Fecking in my face all day. Couldn't get the ball by half way.

Can't really believe the zephyr we had yesterday is even getting mentioned.
Exactly this

Was only watching the stream but did the wind have an effect on the game? Schwakes kicks in the second half were barely reaching any distance at all so was wondering if it's a simple case of both teams being better with the wind helping them.
Hardly a breath of wind, his kicking was awful

We apparently already have a league 2 team, which I don't believe for a second. Now I remember the last time we were relegated from division 1...now THAT was a league 2 team. Stevie Fallon, Craig Feroz....anyone who says we are a league 2 team did not see or does not remember that squad.
We have good players there, the recruitment really wasnt that bad. Our manager isnt getting a tune out of them though.
Apart from bringing in Jack Hamilton, since January, when we were top of the league, our recruitment has been woeful

Game over - beaten by a rubbish Thistle team.
We need to stop this, Thistle no better than us, win 3 nil, Ayr, a couple of weeks ago, no better than us, win 2-0, they’re is a theme here

Arbroath controlling midfield - but nothing up front to create anything.
Thistle look very average.
But 3-0 up on us

He’s a good left back with some potential. We’re a bit odd with our needs for a defensive loan player because we have such a settled back 4. Someone who can play defensive midfield or centre back/ fullback - like Bitsindou- is what works. Sticking Hancock on the left wing was criminal.May have been criminal, but everyone saw it coming

Staying in the league this year will be a bigger achievement than finishing 2nd last year
To be honest, I was more worrying about next season, thought we had enough to be fine this season, but you are correct, staying up, will be a massive achievement

What about a money grabbing mercenary Griffiths. GTF.
After our woeful, inadequate recruitment this year, no sure we are in any position to be pickie

Pleasantly surprised to see Scott Bitsindou and ToB both back in the squad. That should beef up the centre of the team.
Yes, but I never want to see Bitsindou at CH, ever again

Griffiths been training apparently
Would take a fit Griffiths in a minute, but not a fat Griffths, that would be a waste

Leigh Griffiths is currently training with Livi, but is without a club - he is a free agent and available with no transfer fee involved.
I think we should roll the dice, offer him a short contract until January and give him an opportunity to put himself in the shop window, while at the same time reviewing things if he is playing well.
His recent spells with Dundee and Falkirk never worked out, but he is only 32 years old and an ex Scottish internationalist with a proven record of hitting the net.
He has made mistakes off the park, but says he has learnt from these mistakes.
Lets roll the dice, get him involved and see if he has any of his old magic left - or we can continue to lose games with such fine margins due to not having a striker.
So is Mark McNulty and Dylan McGeoch, also possibly time to see if we can make peace with Nicky Low, we are a far better side with him in it

Was actually going to say that in the match thread, there was a couple of touches and spins that Allan had today that really showed his class. Seems to link attacking play very well, just wasn't the finishing touch available.
Never hides, always wants the ball

Looking as an outsider Campbell has stuck more or less with the same squad for 4/5 seasons now some have moved on and Arbroath are now currently struggling , What was Campbells long term plans ? This best part time BS in Scotland come on it only lasts for so long if Arbroath want to progress they need to spend more why has the recruitment been so poor ? Is it because you have what you can afford ?
No sure there is a lack of cash, club appears to be in rude health financially, but Dick has a habit of showing loyalty to some players, sees continuity as a plus, but recruitment has become ragged

Bitsindou at CH, is a mistake waiting too happen, he was dreadful today, Jacobs is also a waste of a wage, he brings nothing to the table, manager has to take responsibility for the godawful recruitment

LookS a positive move. Also could look a bit like they’ve admitted our recruitment has been rank rotten but at least we’re doing something about it.
Recruitment couldn't have been much worse, to be fair, so we will see where it goes

Hmmmmmmmmmmm…. I really don’t think so
Taking him off for the last 30 minutes on a Saturday we are getting beat by Cove so he is fit for a game 7 days later, after he’s done 70 miles at his work, 2 football training sessions (bounce games a lot of the time) and 2 boxing training sessions
Give me a break man
Of course, most of us have no clue how he feels, far too much of a team player

I wonder how Bobby feels…… I am guessing he doesn’t get it either
eta - the mental gymnastics thing in response to the part where EL said we played the same team every week last year and got injuries because we did that, when we barely had any injuries over the course of last season. We’ve had much more problems with injuries already this season and teams changed near enough every week
Nah, he might no like it, but he is long enough in the tooth to get it

The Bobby Linn sub debate could be quite easily ended by us signing someone who can also play left wing and isn't absolute gubbins
This, and the fact he's just turned 37
