  1. I'm actually, and surprising myself, not too concerned with Boyce going. Maybe this is because I accepted it a long time ago, but, and as awesome a player as he is (i.e perhaps the greatest player, and certainly the greatest forward we've ever had), could we also remember that he is the embodiment of a "form striker". He has gone on prolonged runs with no result. Whilst his goals this season were invaluable and undoubtedly aided in moving us as far away from relegation as we were, I don't think we would have been relegated without him (you can say, "remove his goals, blah blah blah", but another player would have been in his place - we would not have played 10 men, and still gotten some points). As others have said, with Curran coming back, we might be ok. I realise I'm saying might, as I do believe we need to sign another forward, and while they will probably not see a return like Boyce, our striking options aren't my main concern. My main concern is midfield. I have it on good authority that Woods will go nowhere. He is on a substantial wage and has triggered a 1 year extension, despite being told he can leave he has uncategorically said he won't. If I've been informed correctly, his wage is much more than others will probably be willing to pay. Also, given McShane's relative failure to break into the team since his arrival, I doubt many, if any, premiership teams will take a punt on him - therefore he knows his best option is to sit out his term. Am I a total judas for thinking we should make a move on Draper...?
  2. This is great news imo. I do like him. Now let's get Tony Bullock as his number 2
  3. True, but I get the feeling he wants big wages, which to be fair he deserves. I wonder if he thinks he's worth more than he is. Fact of the matter, Rangers are "able" to pay more than most other teams of his ability could afford.
  4. Hearing more and more murmurs about Rangers as well. Will be sad to see him off to them. Totally wasted in the SFL
  5. I see Kovacevic is quoted in today's P&J as saying that we have "just as good, if not a better, squad as Dundee United"... and that we can easily finish above them... I'll have what he's smoking..
  6. oh my feck... County i love you, i really do...but i will really struggle to pay £30 for a game...£25 is tough enough...
  7. no way. a summer where we sign both Tokely and Riordan?... a wife beating, anti-county, caley legend and a drug taking, asbo ridden ned... no thanks
  8. apparently we've offered a loan deal for Martin Scott. He's keen to come back and wants to leave Hibs for good. (Daily Star) ETA: " Ross county have also offered Derek Riordan training facilities until the end of pre season and are believed to be in talks with him." I really hope this is a load of cack...it did come from the FB page so chances are high
  9. Correct. Flynn isn't the fastest and will very occasionally make a gallop forward and soon becomes panicked and lost! Playing him in the middle of a back four would definitely be the best way to get the most of him. Genuinely think you have got a decent player here
  10. From the little we've seen of Morrow, he has the first touch of a drunk elephant. I would certainly not be starting him in front of Byrne. If we lose Vigurs (which i think we will) we're in trouble. Where are the moments of magic coming from? I reckon we need; RB x 1 CB x 2 LM x 1 An attack minded CM x 1 CF x 1 At least.
  11. ooooo this place is high... i feel a little light headed!
  12. that is quite smart, kinda like the spiderman/superman ones on the chest. The only thing that i dont like about it are the drops of blood at the bottom of each tear. they just don't seem to be quite as high quality as the rest
  13. yea obviously we hope that, but, i dont think it would be the worst thing in the world. From the little of Malin i've seen, he's alright, a little disappointed he's never had a run out
  14. when you're walking along a pavement and either turn a corner, or any other situation where the person coming the opposite direction ends up only being a few yards away from you when you notice each other, you make the effort to move out of their way or swivel past them, and they don't reciprocate and it was obvious they never intended on doing so. this is worse, as happened yesterday, when it was a really rough looking, The Scheme, type wifey with her demon spawn beside her and its the kid that's in the way...the temptation to walk over him is huge but I just feel it's not worth the hypodermic needle in the neck which is sure to follow if you dont get out of his way.
