  1. What I mean is when there was a fresh start with ICT the fans that stayed with the new club were more interested in Inverness progressing on a footballing level than being hung up on history. I am not saying our merger was right but when all was done and dusted we were left with real football supporters, we lost a few good ones but very few of the less desirable ones followed the new club. The same will happen with the New Rangers, I'm sure.
  2. When they are back as Rangers II most of the die hard bigots either wont follow or will drift away, I can see Rangers II coming back without the history and the bigots. We managed to trim a heap of shyte from our support at the merger.
  3. Chill out man, there's loads of time before they die. Lie back and enjoy the ride, we don't want everything coming out at once. I want this death to last for at least the three weeks leave I have left.
  4. I'd love it if this was the case and the match was the championship decider, it wont happen though the SPL will bail them out against their projected prize money as they did for Gretna.
  5. This is going to be the best run in to a split ever in the SPL, everyone now has something to play for. Then the scrap after for the champions league slot. Who needs the old firm?
  6. When Rangers do finally die off in agony, I propose that Pie and Bovril open up a "Dead legendary football teams" forum, then that Caledonian FC, Gretna and Rangers fans can all greet aboot the glory days and how the clubs which grew from their ashes are but an insult to their memories.

  8. I like your style mate, enjoy winding up the CTO faithful they are easy prey.

  9. Theakston's Old Peculiar, this beer has held legendary status in my mind since a dry docking in South Shields in 1992. Really, really tasty dark ale and with one of those Billy Connolly "pissed from the feet up" buzzes. At 5.6% it's not the strongest beer out there but having been a teenage Tartan Special drinker up to that point it was a lesson in bragging about your drinking prowess. Found it in Tesco tonight £1.25 for a bottle (just under the pint) 6 of them bought plus 20 275ml buds at £8, 2 more OPs then if I'm able it's onto the Buds
  10. It was an excellent match, it's just a pity that the minkers won it. Newtonmore look like some team now, changed days from my time in Kingussie when we walked all over everyone. Great day out even though I'm a bit pished.
  11. Going down to this one, I grew up in Kingussie in the same school year as Ronald Ross and Iain Borthwick. Really looking forward to this match, I don't get to many shinty matches these days but a chance to see us beating the Morac minks in the Scottish cup final does not happen too often these days. Should be a real nostalgia trip.
  12. Powers failing you Immortal one? Looks like you need to search out the Brahan's wee blue stone, I think the one you were given is out of battery.

My last ever post on Marius Niculae - "Told you all in the first place" and dont forget that legal matters can be agreed "amicably" - out of court.

Great to put this saga to bed and look to the future

Perhaps Stevico will say otherwise but I am reliably informed that a deal has been done with the good old confidentiality clause. Personally I will not be sad to see it all wither into history. The muppets are saved once again.

  15. I keep getting banned because I can't resist pointing out CaleyD's logical flaws and hypocrisies, I usually take it too far when proving a point though last time was when he got on his high horse about copyright so when pointing out his breaches of copyright on his T-shirt shop he got all het up, I thought I was doing the right thing consulting the company who made the T-shirts but this resulted in them getting pulled and me banned. Boredom is a terrible thing when you have a mischievous streak. I think at times FUD is very apt when it comes to me and internet wind ups.
  16. Birdog has no posts on here, apart from maybe two hidden ones. FUD, that is a great insult.
  17. That is one hell of a rant for someone who is not would up.
  18. As were Caledonian, from right under your noses.
  19. You know what, my post was inaccurate and ill-judged. You can't steal from a non-existent entity, the name is now ours. In the same way that any team with Thistle in their name can call themselves Jags we can use the name Caley. GIVE ME A C GIVE ME AN A GIVE ME AN L GIVE ME AN E GIVE ME A Y
  20. Obviously a very old poster, still clinging to the distant memories of a long dead team. We ICT fans have stolen the name Caley for our own use, the name probably ranks top of a long list of names which include Caley, Jaggies, Inverrness, Thistle, ICT and I am sure you have many others for us but due to your club's incorporation within the new, and most successful, club to hail from the Highland capital ICT supporters have claimed the name Caley for ourselves. No amount of crying on this forum will ever get it back for you. There was only ever one Super Caley team that went ballistic and they were not your team.
  21. No I do not feel inadequate, if I did I would probably go to university and "better myself". I am not insecure, just bored, it pleases me to come onto internet forums and deride the efforts of others who are making an attempt to better themselves at the expense of the tax payer. As for what winds me up, it is the fact that I know many former university students who simply went into further education to avoid work for a few extra years. They studied subjects which have absolutely no relevance to the career path they chose and if they had applied themselves to their chosen vocation would have left the country with more money to spend on far more important resources. I believe that universities should be more responsible in the courses which they offer instead of allowing people to embark on a course of study which is of little use to anyone.
