If only to avoid playing 3(5) at the back, I'd go the shoehorn route. Personal preference, I realise, but I think we set up better with a back four. However, based on the composition of the squad, I feel that players have been signed on the basis of playing with a back three and wing backs.

It would certainly be nice to have a fit squad for a month (fat chance) and see whether we can find a settled formation.

    That would be nice!

I'm not sure theres really a lot of evidence to suggest we are better with a back four. Our two wins against Edinburgh, and today, we started with a back three. The first Clyde game and the games against Falkirk and Airdrie, where we lost 3 goals, we played a back four.

Do you not think there is a sense among the support that we really do not have a formation we stick to it seems to change every week and especially during the games.  We had enough of that with AJ why do we not have an identity?

If Wilson had been fit the team would have been the same as last week, except with Cochrane in for Todd. Thats pretty much a straight swap, so its highly likely the formation would have been the same.

Without a straight replacement for Wilson, the options are shoe-horn a defender into midfield or change the formation.

Even teams who can't be bothered are getting gifted goals. Awful, lazy pass from Gomis.

Gomis gifting a goal a game at the minute. Whilst not defending it all, it’s amazing how clinically our errors are being punished.

I take it Gomis was hooked then rather than injured? That pass apart, didn't think he was doing that bad.

The goal was well against the run of play but Queens have been on top since.

I do not want to buy this. I know I will buy this.

In truth, if you have FM22 it really is not worth buying, unless you're like me and you just buy it every year regardless.

That's been the case for several years now. Does seem like they're not even bothering with the pretence of it being new anymore.

It doesnt feel hugely different to 22, but i guess its now at the stage where most of the time it wont as theres not a huge amount of "big" changes they can make.

Im only like a month or two in and the new stuff is already kind of fading into the background.

Feels like it's time for the annual monthly subscription debate.

Have never been to Palmerston & despite giving it my best shot still have not made it. Tried going via Edinburgh but with the M90 shut was barely moving from the bridge until i gave up after near 2hr and still no sign of the by-pass.. Still nose to tail with about 70 miles to run so no chance. Headed back up the road & went to Kelty v Clyde still think Clyde will be the team for us to aim for. Not a good day first away game i have missed for 7 or 8 years. Came home to find a parking ticket for 3 hrs in McDonalds car park across from Meadowbank the other week so be aware some of these can be ignored but not sure about this one. I also believe we lost 2-0 today is it never-ending may have to call Miss Truss for advice🙄

Shame you missed the game. I guess your traffic problems explain why the Peterhead team bus didnt get to the ground until 2

  7. I'm enjoying this, it looks awesome and there's some really good performances but I've come to the realisation that I don't really care. I've not found myself invested enough in any of the characters to really be bothered if they are named successor or get their head chopped off.

That's were he started the game against Airdrie before moving inside later on.

They must have moved right wing backs then. Looked like he started on the right of midfield, ahead of McKenna at right back. But he spent most of the game on the right of a midfield three beside Wilson and Cochrane before moving more centrally later on.

Anyone know if there will be live updates from Kelty on the QoS Official Site?

I'm fairly sure there won't be. I know Mr X, who was going to do them, is now unable to go and as far as I know they don't stream games.

I don't do Twitter but if there's a reasonable 3G / 4G signal there I might try to put some up on the Facebook page which I can access.

I have organised a stand in. It's their first time, so who knows how it will go!

I just finished watching this for the first time. I have watched UK version countless times, and I have always found it to be one of greatest comedies out there. I am surprised to say that both versions are neck and neck for me. I was expecting to like the US version, but not love it as much as I did.

Seasons 2, 3, 4, and 5 are incredible TV. I noticed that the quality started to dip once it got to season 6, but there were still a handful of memorable episodes in there.

I was expecting to get bored and dislike season 8 and 9 without Michael being there, but I still got some enjoyment out of both seasons. I would even say that my least favourite season is passable and worth watching.

Here is how I would rank each season

    1. S2
    2. S5
    3. S3
    4. S4
    5. S7
    6. S9
    7. S6
    8. S8
    9. S1

I'm watching it through again now and am in the middle of season 2. I'm watching the extended versions which are really interesting. They do change the tone of a lot of things.

It's some effort, but Munya is definitely the most annoying this series

Watching him get smacked in his smug face by the task coming off the treadmill is right up there with the best ever moments.

I'm enjoying this series a lot more than I thought I would when I saw the lineup.

Crocked in a pre-season friendly. Has subsequently underwent shoulder surgery. As usual with the club no information given on how long he’ll be out.

Shame, he's a decent keeper. He was injured when we first played but I didn't realise he'd had surgery since

The Edinburgh game we got a man sent off early while conceding a penalty. They then got a 2nd just before half time and we proceeded to basically go all out attack with 10 men for the entire 2nd half playing a kind of 2-4-3 formation and got taken apart (unsurprisingly).

Emergency loanee GK Johnson has left and we have a young keeper who has been okay but defensively we look very shakey now. We still have plenty of the ball and look quite dangerous (Kelty game aside) so should be an entertaining game. Frizzell and Fordyce went off injured midweek which is a big blow if they are out. Queens look to be improving so will be a very tough game, I'd expect Queens to edge it in a high scoring game.

    Whats happened to Josh Rae?

Couple of quality of life improvements and addition of basically a glorified notepad and the licences for the European competitions have been added.

    That's genuinely it.

You're joshing with me. Seriously, what's new?

Only seen highlights but some good saves from Hogarth. Camera angle made it hard to see what happened for the goal after Rice said Hogarth was at fault. Looks like he half came for the ball then started back tracking?

Didn't look like Alloa offered much except for the goal so definitely a good point to come away with.

Keeper was definitely at fault. He shouted for the ball then started to come for it but he was never getting close. If he doesn't shout the defender probably deals with it.
