  1. What type of pedigree does Mulgrew have to believe he’d be considered for the job? Has he done much/any management or coaching?
  2. Had a look at Twitter today and realised that Palestine is the Celtic equivalent of Rangers’ ‘poppy fetish’. Saw some Celtic fan painted Palestine flags on her nails and another was asking how she could adopt a Palestinian child
  3. They’ve got the ex Jeanie centre half playing too.
  4. Good list. Was The Halt also a West bar for a brief period? Wasn’t a big fan of it at that point tbh. Clockwork is pretty shite these days, a cavernous place with not much atmosphere IMO. They had a good beer garden set up during the Euros though when the Covid restrictions were still in force.
  5. Stop ruining the incredible witty banter I’m trying to have. Post a wurzel gif or something, that’s always hilarious.
  6. It’s probably a valuable skill in poverty-stricken Paisley too as the junkies know when they can pick up their methadone!!!!!! Hahahahah!!! What banter we’re having.
  7. I’d argue Luncarty have the worst badge in the entire pyramid. You could host a competition to draw a badge in a primary one class and there wouldn’t be a worse effort.
  8. Essentially if you’re a boomer (who has refused to move with the times) then it’s Nessles.
  9. Unsure if this was a joke or not but I’ve never heard anyone say ‘Nessels’.
  10. Fair play to HibsFan for managing to unite Rangers, Celtic, & Aberdeen fans. A rare occurrence that requires a special level of nonsense to be spouted.
  11. Going to the effort to produce custom stickers celebrating the death of rival fans is really really weird and tragic behaviour. Those Hibs ‘ultras’ are complete gimps.
  12. Chelsea should have been home and dry and they’ve absolutely fucked it. They’ve been the much better team generally.
  13. Guildford, Abbotsford, Cumberland & Ryries are all owned/ran by the same people. All decent pubs.
  14. Without naming Finnieston pubs (which are better IMO) good ones in the Byres Road/GWR area are Tennents, The Aragon, The Doublet, Sparklehorse & The Belle.
  15. Never been to a wedding that’s been entirely family. Fortunately I don’t think we know that many people with kids anyway but I’d imagine people would be able to arrange a childminder like they would if they were going out as a couple otherwise. They’d be able to relax at the wedding without worrying about chasing after their kids the whole time, also they’d be leaving early if they had kids in tow either way as kids don’t typically stay up really late anyway. It also enables more friends/family to be invited. edit: also no screaming children during ceremony, speeches etc. All upside, very little downside.
  16. Children don’t add anything to a wedding. I’ll be banning them at mine, without the need for a cringeworthy paragraph on the invite.
  17. You can have Errol. No grubby Dundonians encroaching beyond that point into our beautiful Perthshire please.
  18. Let’s be honest Tam, Dundee is fucking pish. The waterfront area that got loads of money plowed into it with the V&A (very underwhelming inside) looks decent, and the Perth Road has some good pubs. The Ferry is nice too but that’s not even technically part of Dundee. Aside from that the place is absolutely dire, and the people cut about with some of the worst accents in the country. I’d still rather live there than in Aberdeen though. Or Blairgowrie. Back on topic, Motherwell look a good price this weekend for my weekly nailed on St Johnstone nil bet.
  19. If he manages both of those he’ll have matched the achievements of Super Rob Page.
  20. Poland do have a shite team tbf. Should still be beating Moldova though.
  21. Obviously not a foregone conclusion at all but Croatia should be ashamed of themselves if they go from being World Cup semi-finalists, to winning their Nations League group, to then finishing below Wales’ ragtag bunch of Championship goons.
  22. Games against Armenia (a) and Turkey (h) left. Turkey should’ve qualified already by then so there’s a decent chance Wales could still qualify. Some turnaround from looking dead and buried after being hammered by Armenia.
