  1. As a few others have said, fair play to the players today. They battled hard and got the result we desperately needed.
  2. Hamilton shouted for the header and got caught under it, leaving smarticus with a tap in. He must love playing us. The rest has been about as pretty as expected. It’s good we’ve got a player on loan from the championship that can’t even deliver a corner, honking.
  3. 10.15am seems very early, could easily be a couple of hours later to give it the best chance of going ahead.
  4. To be fair they were pretty contrasting results, surely you can see the frustration in being able to play the runaway leaders off the park one week then shitting the bed against 9th on multiple occasions other weeks. It shows that we have some decent fair weather footballers who can play a bit when the pressure is off but have zero mentality to put in a shift when it’s needed most. Not all of the lads but a good number sadly.
  5. Rather than acting surprised when we shit the bed most of us have reached the point of expecting it (and will be pleasantly surprised if we get a result). It’s all very well having ‘more quality’ but not much use if you have a bunch of pea-hearted shite bags in the team. Time for the players to roll their sleeves up and show us they are up for the fight. Respect is earned. As for your last comments, I don’t think we are in a position to look down our noses at anyone. Bonnyrigg earned their place here the hard way, through good management putting them on an upwards trajectory. Quite the opposite of us.
  6. The battle of Bonnyrigg… I have a feeling this won’t be one for the purist. Do we have enough men brave enough to stand up to the diabetes threatened, hammer throwing horde? All signs point to unlikely…
  7. You’ve hit the nail on the head and I am fearful that I already know the answer.
  8. This is my concern too. Bonnyrigg looked absolutely woeful when we played round them at Hamilton on Astro but I think the ploughed field pitch will suit them better than us. They may not be very mobile but they do have strong, battling players. We have some nice fair weather footballers but when it comes to getting stuck in and winning ugly I’m worried. It’s absolutely win or bust territory now if we can somehow come away with a win I’d still fancy us to not finish 10th, anything less and we are done.
  9. If both teams could get zero points that would be ideal.
  10. Bonnyrigg up at Elgin on Saturday and Stranraer up at Peterhead, really puts pressure on us to take something vs Forfar to (potentially) close the gap on those two. Over the next 3 weekends both Elgin and us play each of Forfar, Bonnyrigg and Stranraer. It will either blow the relegation battle wide open or seal our fate. Big points needed from us, still very deep in the shit despite 3 wins in last 4. Hopefully the up turn in results can continue.
  11. Stranraer racking up the goal difference now too, you boys are hopeless.
  12. Agree, Bonnyrigg were dreadful when we played them recently. Our game there in a couple of weeks could be very significant, shame their pitch is usually a tattie field.
  13. Fair enough, maybe just doesn’t look as much spaced out in the stand.
  14. Great couple of results and if nothing else we are at least applying some heat to the teams above us now. What is going on with attendance figures though. 701 I’ve seen quoted for yesterday but take a look at the stand in the highlights, I’m not buying it. Similar when I seen the midweek Forfar game quoted as in the six hundreds, I was there and didn’t think it was anywhere near that. Are we just counting all season ticket holders whether they turn up or not?
  15. We really need a favour from Dumbarton in particular midweek. If Stranraer win we will still be 5 behind despite the good work of last 2 weeks.
  16. Was there a few weeks back, you could pay cash or contactless at the gate. My lad is 10 and was free entry so should be all good.
  17. Think I saw on the P&B Twitter that over the last 6 games Elgin are top of the form table for the league. This won’t be easy, despite Elgins poor away record. Looking at the Forfar game it seems we struggle more against teams that sit in, no doubt what Elgin will do given their away form and the fact a draw suits them a lot more than us. Just please somehow find a way to win this Clyde!
  18. You still trying to crowd fund for the ops whilst signing 2 guys a week from levels above?
