  1. Did he not want it for free and the money going to the club / company / whoever?
  2. See that's where your wrong. There is 4/5 regular posters on this thread and i am willing to take them at face (post) value that religion doesn't matter for them but then you open a thread on RangersMedia and you are hit with it continually. I appreciate that the vast majority on there are a bunch of complete roasters BUT they are "Rangers" fans wither the posters on here like it or not.
  3. Just watched it on you tube and the ball looks to have went backwards. Not by much but slightly. He might want to go get his eye's checked.
  4. IF it is the company being liquidated at the moment and not the club(inc the history etc) as the fans, sfa/spfl what you to believe then why did the club have to reapply for the clubs rightful place in the SPL and subsequently for membership of the sfa to play in the league? Surely the club not the company had this already? after all it is the club using the membership not the company. i am pretty sure when our new owner comes in he won't have to apply for a membership to play in the league as we already have one.
  5. do you think the BBC believe the pish they write? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30509080
  6. It's a lot like Malpas at Motherwell. he was a cracking number 2 and there were plenty of well fans wanting him to get the job when Butcher went down under but it was fairly obvious very quickly that he wasn't up to being a manager
  7. Cracking post mate but i think the bit in bold depends on how and when he leaves
  8. Is this not what the new criminal case is about for his lawyers. they confirmed to Murray/Lloyds that whyte had the money but he really didn't until the sale whet through? or it could be down to the fact that Whyte agreed to be the guarantor of the Ticketus money no matter what happened.
  9. seriously though how much money are they going to save by paying off back ground people? It's like when the old team went into admin and they paid off nobody except 2 youngsters who choose to get out of there.
  10. i read on the replacement thread that someone made a mistake in the posting of his twitter account which almost lead to an innocent person being accused of sending it. there is the danger of putting someones information online.
  11. That's the name. couldn't remember them. You are probably right but they will lose a shed load of money by allowing their shareholding to be diluted compared to letting the club take a loan from someone who it appears to not want to touch them just the retail rights.
  12. your right the majority will have made nothing but the ones with the largest shareholdings blue pitch, margarita, McCoist, Green, and White will have taken a fair bit out the club in one way or another. you can bet the £70mill(?) that has been spent a large chunk of that will have made it's way into their collective pockets.
  13. Turkey's voting for Christmas springs to mind. I can see for profit shareholders voting with Ashely to block it and take his loan option therefor continuing their gravy train.
  14. I accept i know nothing about share issues etc except for what i have read in the news and on here but If Dave King and co want to own 51% that would involve buying shares. but i thought that they had to wait until the AGM approves the selling of shares unless someone is willing to sell their shares privately to King and Co like Ashely got a bit back. Owning 51% of shares is going to take a bit of convincing a hell of a lot of people to sell their shares and the club would get none of it. If it is an investment i thought that was just handing over the cash hoping to see a return on it in the future? granted i could be way wrong.
  15. Ashley cares about one thing and it ain't Newco or Newcastle... it is making money for himself and the shareholders of Sports Direct. Newco like Newcastle have a bunch of fans that love nothing more than mincing around in their club branded clothing etc Making Sports Direct a shed load of cash. He bought Newcastle to get the rights and look at the grief he is getting for it. With Newco he has gotten all the rights without having to buy the whole club and doesn't get the grief. He doesn't want to own the club he just needs enough influence to protect his income stream.
  16. The Expendables 3 - bit better than the second one for me. with 10 folk taking on a small countries whole army it was never going to be the most believable film. 8/10
  17. Are they allowed to take card payments for membership or pound coins only?
  18. There was an article in the paper years ago about how McLeish nearly signed ole gunnar solskjaer for the 'Well just before he was snapped up by Man U. seems to have a history of nearly signing players.
  19. could you not have picked Airdrie as your team? after all they are/were your cousins.
  20. seriously? you can't make this stuff up. McCoist still wanting for players for next year http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26328867
  21. Have I missed something, Why is everyone still refering to them as Rangers? I am sure i read something that they weren't allowed to use that name.
  22. What's he worrying about? he has a year to go out and get a better deal. Imagine having to go out and do the job his is paid to do?? To be honest if i was in charge of sky etc i wouldn't be happy to be seen supporting something as corrupt as the SPL. Why is he telling the SFL this information? why should they give a damn that the spl are losing a few million?
