That game will always have a special place I’m my heart. I watched it on my laptop on the bbc website as my wife was giving birth to our daughter. She had been given her epidural and fell asleep just as the game started. Thankfully fourth valley was a new hospital and had great Wi-Fi.

was there not a team who played the whole game with 2-3 tight ends to save their WR's from injury? Giants? for a game that didn't matter they should have put as many reserves out there as possible and used this as their bye week. As you say why Herbert played at all never mind most of the game was iffy.

I wonder how the 'trade' for Payton will work out. Payton picks the bronco's and we offer pick 32 in the draft. Cardinals offer pick 3 but Payton says I'm not going there. You would think that the Saints would have nailed down exactly what they were getting in a trade before allowing him to speak to all and sundry. the words that have been released about Denver's request is 'the Broncos never flinched at the though of the first rounder the saints are looking for' nothing in there that says compensation has been agreed.
