  1. Before we signed Wilson, i couldn't stand him off the field and thought he was over rated on it.

I still hold those beliefs but i also believe he was nowhere near as bad as he was last year. He does need to shoulder a lot of the blame for last year, Hackett was incompetent and Wilson took advantage of it to get what he wanted.

This year I am sure will be different, we know who is in charge and,  like Pete Carroll, Payton will have a plan around Wilson's strengths and a way round his weaknesses. My concern is we seem very light in the RB room. a lot of trust being put on player coming back from a serious leg injury and we are going to need to run the ball to have any success.

  2. Sean Payton saying what we all saw last year....

Incredibly candid comments from #Broncos HC Sean Payton to

! “Everything I heard about last season, we’re doing the opposite.” On what happened last year: “There’s so much dirt around that. There’s 20 dirty hands, for what was allowed, tolerated in the fricking training rooms, the meeting rooms. The offense. I don’t know Hackett. A lot of people had dirt on their hands. It wasn’t just Russell. He didn’t just flip. He still has it. This B.S. that he hit a wall? Shoot, they couldn’t get a play in. They were 29th in the league in pre-snap penalties on both sides of the ball.” “It doesn’t happen often where an NFL team or organization gets embarrassed,” Payton said. “And that happened here. Part of it was their own fault, relative to spending so much (expletive) time trying to win the offseason – the PR, the pomp and circumstance, marching people around and all this stuff. We’re not doing any of that.” “It might have been one of the worst coaching jobs in the history of the NFL. That’s how bad it was.”

  3. i can see Rodgers being this seasons Russell Wilson, he will walk all over Hackett and do what he wants to do and it will end in Jets tears.

They have a fairly tough schedule and are in a division with the Bills, Dolphins and Pats. they might come 3rd or 2nd if Tua can't play the whole season, maybe even 4th if Bill can drag the Pats through. Can't say i have been overly convinced with Salah as a HC, he likes to blame others for his teams failings and i am waiting for them to start the season 0-6 and blame Hard Knocks for it.

    Up to their Bye week

    Bills

    Cowboys (a)

    Pats

    Chiefs

    Broncos (a)

    Eagles

They could go 0-6 there or at best 2-4

    Don’t agree.

This scheme should have been done on a UK basis from the start.

It was. There was an all nations approach to it but England start to pull back whereas Scotland push ahead.

Scotland's problem then became they had to get permission to implement it.

Doesn't matter if you are for independence or not, A government asking permission to do something in their own country, gender reform or recycling, is just plain wrong. You could hear the glee in Alasdair Jack's voice denying permission to go ahead with it as it is saw as getting one over on the SNP.

  5. It seems a bit odd you can't bet on anything if you are within the teams facilities... although i am not sure my company would be too happy if I was sat there gambling instead of working/listening in a meeting.

betting on NFL games of course you should be banned, getting a longer ban than a sex pest is the strange bit.

Is the extent of Schofield's crimes that he is a bad-tempered diva, and that he groomed and shagged a young guy while being married to his Mrs?

don't forget the bit in bold. just because he says he didn't do it, doesn't mean he didn't

  7. i am sure we will all talk about it in the 2024 draft thread BUT.... there is a CB out there playing for Alabama Kool-Aid McKinstry

wonder what his parents were drinking when they named him....

edit - Turns out it was his Gran that nicknamed him that... real name is Ga'Quincy. he does have sponsorship with Kool-Aid. I would happily be called Diet coke for a few hundred grand.
