  2. predictions -

This is the last season for Big Bill in New England

    Jets start the season 0-6

Superbowl will be Eagles v Bills and the Bills will blow it again.

Cards will move on from Murray after coming last with the first ever 0-17 record.

I'll go different from @RiG Purdy will get benched by week 3 and Darnold will lead the 49'ers to the Divisional road with McCaffrey getting 2000 rushing yards.

This probably sounds a bit mental given how awful we were in the first half, but I think that's probably Kettlewell's most impressive victory so far. I'm not exaggerating when I say that at half time he was probably looking out the folder marked "plan E". To turn things round in the way we did, with the injuries we have, and after last week is really impressive.

Nice to have a manager who has more than just plan A and Fcuk all else

Celebrating 39 years of consecutive top flight football is a bit rich when that’s been achieved by financial doping, not paying your bills, league reconstruction, lobbying other clubs  to stop the First Division Champions being promoted and avoiding administration points penalties.

Frankly, I’d be ashamed if it were my club.

    BINGO!!!! I win

Lance is flirting with the "B" word.

Bit harsh, since he hasn't really been given an opportunity to fail, but still, you don't take a QB that high then expect to still having him fighting for a job three seasons later.

He should never have been picked that high. He only played 16(?) college games and even they weren’t against top opposition.
He could run and The 9ers wanted a runner.

He’s got top of first round money to fall back on and I’m sure someone will pick him up and keep him as a back up.

His dad's a 'Well fan so I assume he is as well. That would have helped when it came to signing the deal.

I'm not sure that comes into it too much, although I am sure the parents of Paul Slane and Bailey Rice heavily influenced their son's desires to move to their clubs.

It just seems sensible that you will get more of a chance at Motherwell than <insert name of larger club here>. If you're good enough you will be signed for the first team, not the youth/reserve/B team.

As some above have said, lets just enjoy the talent while we have it and pray when he moves on it's not to Celtic's bench.

Did Brady seriously say something in that video about him "being the underdog"? Really? Tom Brady? Once of the 6 time Superbowl winning New England Patriots? A team that dominated the AFC/NFL for almost 20 years!?

so much of an underdog he had to cheat to win games, just like his head coach

  8. The alerts on my phone (bleacher report / the Athletic) were going nuts at the weekend as all this news was dropping.

i think they need to get in a room and hash it all out, have 1 or 2 conferences and allocate teams to them. can't do promotion or relegation as they are American.

That's what I need to understand from these complaints, what isn't working? What are the expectations of what we can feasibly do? A new owner doesn't stop us from conceding a header from a midget at Dens Park. There are clubs with way more resources than us that screw up more than we do.

It's OK to be critical of decisions and direction, but to decide that the fan ownership model is the cause of our problems is short sighted. I'm sure it's down to a fundamental misunderstanding of what fan ownership is, but the idea that we can just simply bring in outside investment (like it isn't something we're already trying) to save the day is laughable.

A proper owner would have appointed a proper CEO and media team lead by now…. Is what they are thinking.

I don’t have an issue with fan ownership but I do think there is something missing with the board. Feels like flow was holding everything together and we aren’t going to get a direct replacement for him.

  10. I paid for the SuperBowl last year so we could get the American adverts and they tried to take the full amount from me this year.

I get that its the US but there must be some data protection law where the NFL have passed my (all of our) bank details to a 3rd party, including people who haven't used it for years. that can't be right.
