  1. Worst - 8 Mile in late 2002 in the Warner Brothers/Vue Cinema in Inverness.  Some drunk virgin in the back row wouldn't shut the fuck up and three of us, including me got him told.  None of us knew each other I don't think, well I certainly didn't know the other two, we were all just fucked off his his shite

Best - Underworld Evolution in 2006 again in the Warner Brothers/Vue Cinema in Inverness.  Got steaming in the Snowgoose before the film, traipsed across the retail park, and fell asleep 10 minutes into the film.  Woke up as the credits were rolling.  My mates told me the film was so shite they didn't bother waking me up.

Rewatching this for the first time since it finished (10 years btw, cant believe how fast its gone). At the end of season 2 now.

Its not as good as I remembered it, but still as enjoyable. Its heavily predicated on the big, actiony, explosive moments, and the stuff inbetween like the Walts cancer scenes, Jesse's personal life are dull AF.  How thick are feds as well. You have proof connecting: blue meth > Tuco > Jesse > Walt > missing lab equipment, its hardly the Lufthansa heist lads.

One thing that's better than I remembered is the humour. Was absolutely howling at the intervention scene in season 1. The second Walt walks in the door, Hank's right in amongst the charcuterie for a handful of cheese.

That's the point though; no one who knows him would ever expect Walt to be behind it all.  It's too unbelievable.

Trying to think of the allegiances of all my managers through my career.  Of those who have enjoyed football I think it goes - Rangers, Newcastle Utd, Hibs, Hibs, Falkirk, Dundee Utd, Tottenham, Aberdeen, Rangers, Newcastle Utd.

The ones who support English teams were actual fans of those teams, from the area.

^ ^ ^ Worked in the Rangers shops in Inverness and Edinburgh-type post IMO.

  4. It's always Old Firm fans as they're the lowest common denominator, in all of society.  In school, it was always the arseholes in my year who were OF fans, always the bottom of the class academically in my year who were OF fans. In my work life the OF fans never got to management positions, they were always the 'worker ants'.

I've mentioned this before but I don't think I've ever had a manager who was an OF fan in any job I've had. I've had a United, Raith, Hearts and I think a The Caley fan, although he never came out and said he was but I've seen him at games. Never a Celtic or Rangers fan.  Very strange isn't it? Why is that? Given there's so many of them.

  5. God I'd forgotten about this. I watched it when it was on back in 06-07.  Superb show, Philip Glenister is brilliant in it.  Will watch it after I'm done with the equally superb Dexter.

This is where the offside rules need changed. There is no advantage to the attacker in goals like that, it’s not even a whole boot in front of a defender who isn’t even near him.

Should be clear daylight to be offside imo. The attacker has zero advantage being a millimetre closer to the goal than the defender.
