  1. Thank you for proving my point. I believe the rule is something like if a player kicks the ball off his own hand/arm it's not supposed to be called as handball? I'm sure it's something like that. FWIW it was that bad from Fox that at the time I had no complaints about it. I certainly am not as bothered by that decision as I am the Eze disallowed goal vs Morton. I'm still not going to fucking write to the SFA though, unhinged behaviour.
  2. Paranoia levels usually reserved for fans of the ugly sisters in the last few posts. Incredible stuff.
  3. Second half against Hamilton was much better than the previous game and a half. Got to be absolutely at it from the start this time round. We all seen what happened last time at Somerset, but we dealt with them very well in the last game at Ochilview (albeit only scoring a penalty and an OG) so we need to take our chances when we create them. All three had a great impact last week. I'd definitely start Bannon and probably Davidson (assuming the knock Thomson took has left him at anything less than 100%). Coyle's post match interview seemed to hint that he was impressed with Shields on the wing against Hamilton, so I wonder if we will see a start for both Shields and Williamson but it'll remain the 4-5-1 he loves to play. I'd much rather 4-4-2 at this point and just fucking go for it.
  4. Absolutely embarrassing from them if that's the case. To be expected from anyone or anything associated with Falkirk, whether that be the town, football club, wheel or anything else.
  5. Thank f**k that wasn't on the TV tonight, brutal game but we thankfully scored a goal for the first time in four weeks and that was enough against a Hamilton side that had a few half chances but only gave Ferrie one really big save to make. Any Hamilton fans shed some light on what happened at the end? Stewards running across into the away end, and then looked like some handbags in the car park outside the ground? They were in good voice before and during the game, shame to see things boil over like that.
  6. The lengths we're going to to throw away all the positivity of the on field success up until now is quite incredible. Befitting of the rest of the club in general.
  7. Cannot believe the change in tune from Dundee fans on here. Giving it the big yin for the last three months, and now that they've gone top and are in great form, they're shitting themselves. After Hamilton this week, we play three teams who we have a league record this season of P12 W1 D2 L9, and that was back when we didn't look completely incapable of playing football. It's absolutely over, and we would now be lucky to hold off Thistle for 2nd place.
  8. Looks like I did aye. Don't remember typing either of those posts, some weekend I had trying to get over Friday.
  9. Last five weeks have been a rude awakening for this squad. Some clearly had their heads turned in January, and others completely lost theirs. It obviously looks ridiculous to say it now, given where we have been recently, but objectively we'd have taken staying in the league this season and that has been achieved. But bottling the chance to go straight up again in the manner we have done it is borderline unforgivable.
  10. We've left the place good for yous, enjoy it. Overstayed our welcome.
  11. Of course not, it's just that the collapse from this squad is that fucking embarrassing there is almost no explanation for it.
  12. Can't be fucked reading the rest of this thread. We've been dugmeat for five weeks, we got lucky against Cove and ICT but really we should have lost the last 5. It's actually frightening how much we've dropped off from where we were in that time. Thought Kilday and Eze were our best players (I went for a piss and missed 4-0 which was apparently his fault, not that it really means anything in the grand scheme) and that says it all. Letting Simon Murray go in January, whether he forced it or the club did, has cost us the chance of a historic league title.
  13. I hate to agree with you but at this point I'm not against it.
  14. For the third week in a row we've got precisely what we deserved. Embarrassing.
  15. Can't wait for the day out. First time this season I'm actually not looking forward to the football itself. We've absolutely bottled the last two weeks and I can't see it changing any time soon. Will take top 4 now given what we did last year in the playoffs.
  16. Dundee fans nominated someone we can drop the keys off with?
  17. Scotland able to provide a nice distraction from the nerve-racking end to the season we're facing, but it's back to business as usual this week with a trip to Kirkcaldy. Much like last week, I regard this as a must win for us if we want to maintain a fight for the title. Unlike last week though, we cannot afford to give away points again by not showing up and putting in poor performances. This season there has been a pattern of a bounce back after a defeat, so here's hoping the trend continues. If fit Kilday and Thomson get back in the starting XI for me, and I also want Healy to start over Henderson. Raith going into this on the back of a disappointing performance of their own in the cup final, hopefully feeling a bit of a hangover from that and we can take advantage.
  18. With the Hamilton game moving to Friday night as well. After Raith this week, three Friday nights in a row (Thistle (A), Hamilton (H), Ayr (A)) all a day ahead of Dundee playing. Got to be some kind of psychological advantage to that, assuming we win those games of course... As for the announcement itself, what else did we really expect. If they start now and get the rumoured temporary stands in place for next season, then fine. But it's yet another egg on the face of the club and the powers that be supposedly in charge of this. Three full years of no home games.
  19. We're all still suffering a little bit of a hangover from Friday, but another trick missed by the clubs social media to make note that Saturday was one year since Owen Coyle was announced. No matter what position we finish in at the end of this season, his first year cannot be called anything other than a success and it's been a joy to watch both his enthusiasm for QP and the football his team have put on show for us. We'll be discussing his first year in a bit more detail on this weeks podcast episode, which will be out tomorrow morning.
  20. Queen's Park fighting for 3rd in the league with 40,000 home fans. You've become so ridiculously rattled by us in the last few weeks you never even stopped to read your post back to yourself before pressing enter.
  21. In an article in the Queen's Park match program, written by a Queen's Park fan? Shocking revelation if true.
  22. We almost certainly won't be allowed to "pick and choose" where we play next season. When has any club been allowed to do that, and why do people now suddenly think we will be given that choice? I agree 100% with @PB1994 above in that for next season we announce where we're playing and that's it for the year. And regardless of what league we're in, unfortunately I think I actually would choose Hampden if that was an option. Even if we're in the championship 1000 seats at Lesser is unacceptable, and despite the recent talk of "temporary stands" it's not going to be completed in time for next season. QP once again being reactive rather than proactive, it's not like we've been saying for years now the plans at Lesser are not good enough.
