  1. Just as well I didn’t travel from the south of England for this game.. oh wait I did Most important thing I want to know is what happens to my 50/50 tickets
  2. Not quite sure thats the correct statement to use. As my son is Epileptic and whilst not going in to the "ins and outs" of his illness doesnt fall in to your categorising. However he is entitled to the Highest Rate Mobility, if they didnt have it set at some level, as someone has said earlier, at what disability would the club then set it at? (Loss of a finger etc). Unfortunately disabilities as you are no doubt aware are still grey areas, however things are improving but still there is room for improvement, not just at football level, but also ministerial level. However that is a different conversation for a different part of P&B
  3. Again my memory might not be brilliant but i think it was to do with the fact the "carer" was getting in for free and then sitting somewhere complete different to where the person they were supposed to be with were. It was more than likely a money saving move as, i say pretty sure it was during Drysdales era which probably falls in with what you say. Outwith this i do think the club need to do more for the disabled supporters side of things, however it will probably take time and maybe lessons can be learnt from other clubs.
  4. Glad its not just me that remembered it( thought i was going mad).
  5. Not quite what i typed, as i said i remember something being said about the system being abused but cant be arsed finding where i had read it. Might have been on the official site or it might have been on Fannytalk. I do apologise though that i wont scroll through all the chat pages to find it for you and will try better next time.
  6. Not after convincing you. You asked a question i gave an answer. Back to the game, first Rovers game in about 4 years so looking forward to it. Just hoping its a decent game to watch
  7. Yes, think it was a couple of years ago that they said it. Although don't ask me to find the relevant article for it as can't be arsed trying to find it. Think it might have been towards the Drysdale era, so make of that what you will. Appreciate everyones dealings with this isnt as good as each others but guess the only way to change it is to interact with the DLO and ask to meet with them to discuss what could be done better. Bearing in mind that i believe this role has only just been set up and is being dual hatted with another role.
  8. All ticketing is "age related" whether disabled or not though. As has been said you have to prove you are in receipt of the PIP to be able to enter the ground. The club has openly stated that the system was abused for years by people, hence why they have to add an extra level of checking to be done. I'm sure there can be improvements made to the system but pricing i dont think is one of them based on what they are offering at the moment.
  9. Its literally written on the website https://www.raithrovers.net/disabled-supporters. Unsure what else the club can do when it comes to explaining about disability requirements, maybe do a door to door for people as well? Personally i think that if the carer is getting in free then pricing isn't an issue as you are getting 2 people in to a game of football for maximum of £20. Or do people expect everything for free?
  10. Sorry should have added that IAW the Rovers website i have to take the proof of his PIP to the ground with me when i go. This was told to me on the phone as well as reading it on the website.
  11. On the flip side of this I've just phoned the club up and got a disabled ticket for my 20 year old son and me and its only cost £12 for the both of us. So not sure how people can complain about the pricing as this is the price for U21's. Even if he was over 21 and i had to pay the £20 for a ticket it still means that both of us are getting to go for £20. It takes 5 minutes to phone the club and the personnel on the other end of the phone couldnt have been more helpful. Maybe if in the past fans hadn't abused the disability ticket system then they would have it on the website but i genuinely cant see the issue with having to phone the club to get a ticket.
  12. You do realise that Aberdeen offered him another contract that he has turned down and clubs like Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland are looking at him. Don't think there would be any clubs in Championship (possibly exception being Kilmarnock) that could afford him.
  13. Would say 0% as it’s only the top 4 best placed that qualify for next round
  14. I’ve been watching the league that Hayes play in for a few years now and too be honest the standard is very much lower league 1/ league 2 level. However there is some decent players that have been found in the last few years, Jamal Lowe now at Wigan for one.
