The thing that stuck me more than anything else was quick the St Mirren stands emptied when we equalised, that was the most pleasing thing as it showed just how much of a sickner our goal was. Secondly Im surprised to see on other forums that some St Mirren fans said they saw our goal coming, not one Morton fan round about me saw it, a lot saying it was one of the worst performances of the season but the thing about this Morton team is they have spirit, they fight for each other and they are all in it together and keep going to the death as we saw today. -

It seems tickets sales have picked up in the last few days so we should have a better support than I suspected last week. I think a lot of our fans are now getting wise to the fact you can buy tickets at the away end of the ground instead of heading into Greenock or Cappielow to get them -

It's Paisley we are travelling to NOT Dingwall or Inverness when everytime we go there it seems there is mass brawls between our own fans -
Dispite the Beith fans doing their best to create an atmosphere they let themselves down with outbusts of 'the sash' and Brigton billy boys'. A few got rather upset at the Morton reaction of 'you're shite and your big team died. Just another day at the office for Morton who hardly got out of first gear.

http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php?/topic/233857-young-talent/&page=1 As has been mentioned above plus I reckon another couple of young lads to look out for are Jack Purdue and Stuart Boag (son of Morton legend John Boag)

I witnessed a Morton fan approach the steward who was stationed on the disabled wheelchair area in the middle of both supports, with a half bottle of Buckfast which was missing the base area, so the was defiantly some sort of incident involving the bottle, what is not true though is that the steward was laughing and seemed to find it funny, yes he was being a bit of a cock at other times during the game but when approached with this he looked quite taken a back and took the bottle straight to the police who where standing in the disabled area.

The Buddies v Morton 20;11;15

If this game was played at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon with no tv coverage I'd have been confident we'd have sold out our allocation but what I seeing from running buses is that a lot of the older fans and those who normally go with younger kids have decided because of the recent weather, the evening kick off and the obvious fact that they can all watch it on the tv for free that they are willing to give this one a miss. I reckon we'll have around 1400 to 1500 up there which although around 1-200 short of filling the away stand behind the goal it will look pretty much full.
