Brilliant day out at Linlithgow on Saturday. Welcomed with open arms, not many social clubs you can get lost and struggle to get a seat and they have three large rooms. What a Brilliant set up. Ground and pitch superb. Great to visit a football club with history and not a football team with no fans. Bar area was still full when we left at 6.30 ish. Lovely pubs on the Main trek to the station also. ( forgot to mention the awesome soup and pie - delicious ! ). Rovers battled away and I thought our three 1 on 1 missed chances had cost us when we blatantly handled the ball in the box at the end - ref was right in front of it ! 100% a pen. See you next season!

No idea why EK have paid cash ( quite a lot if the rumours are true ! ) for our captain in Feb If he can't play in the playoffs. They've already won the league but may not win the playoffs! Sean could move for nothing in May. Or has the EK Club secretary made a wee mistake ? I would imagine this won't happen now If the paperwork has still to be signed. Anyway If he has moved - all the best to Sean - what a fantastic Albion Rovers captain and player.

I think we got £5k for Declan Byrne who went to Kelty after scoring 8 goals in 33 games. Charlie will obv be more... Id hope something like £15k.... There will be dialog with the clubs then a fee agreed on - or it goes to a tribunal. When Byrne went to Kelty - took him until Jan to score one of his ONE goals (before moving to Clyde to score One more goal! - QPR looked at this kid ! ! So £5k was probably a decent fee for us.

Was my first visit on Saturday, absolutely loved the ground - perfect to watch the game from what ever end you wanted. Give me this over any of the plastic lego stadiums. Also the social club was superb, very jealous of that !
