  1. Absolutely this. I don't even think a pumping is in order, a defeat by 2 goals and I'd be comfortable. Strangely I just don't see us losing on Saturday
  2. Win next week then kids out in the Tannadice match. Wrap everyone in cotton wool.
  3. I'm not for a minute suggesting we shouldn't do this but look at the recent examples where we've done this. Lyons, Dowds, MacIver, Charlie Reilly. We've not had a huge amount of success. Milne and Turner are obvious exceptions. I think it's just too simplistic to say that is what we should be doing, we should be looking all over for the best available player not only trying to discover players who might make it.
  4. Which is fine for a neutral but EK sold out a game against Hamilton earlier this season so for them to not show up now is poor
  5. A decent point today all things considered. Next week is huge irrespective of Airdrie's result during the week. Would bite your hand off now for a point.
  6. Surely, Stenny will be home and hosed by the time any of you face them which throws a slight curve ball? I think if Stranraer can avoid defeat to you on Saturday then they have marginally the least difficult run in.
  7. I tell you something. If John-Lewis was investigated after the Taylor Catterall fight then Foster should be getting investigated for scoring that 9 rounds to Clarke, that's a shocker.
  8. That Foster card is wild though when you take the knockdown and point off
  9. Calling at least one judge will have this a draw
  10. Both absolutely blowing. Got Wardley by the slightest margin going into the final round. Draw very much a possibility here.
  11. As ever, the sky commentary is excruciating
  12. Wardley looking a bit wild but looks the more likely now. Clarke already looking spent.
  13. Got it 3-1 Clarke after 4
  14. I said before yesterday that if we won our home games we'd finish third. Given we have 3 tricky away games remaining (albeit the DU game may be a dead rubber for one/both of us) I think anything we can get from the games at EEP and Starks are welcome. In reality I think 5 points from here would be enough for third
  15. Does anyone know. In the event where we reach the play offs and Ayr aren't involved, could Dowds return and play for us (assuming his contract is to the end of May) given that Tomi is out for the season and the only other striker we have is Diack apart from BBG?
  16. Yes I know. Hence why I said if they survive and about being able to choose which league you are relegated into.
  17. Thanks. It definitely works going the other way. Can't see the likes of Gala and Gretna (if they survive) being happy about having to travel to Perth for league games but sucks to be them in that case.
  18. Just out of interest, anyone know which league Jeanfield have nominated as their preference if they are promoted to tier 5?
  19. This is the thing. I think if we get 6 points from the next two games we'll be 4th at worst this season. But the jekyll and Hyde nature of our performances all season is really not filling me with confidence.
  20. Very much looking like any one of 5 teams for the title and 2 from 4 joining Medda (sorry) in heading down now.
