  1. I honestly don't think most clubs will care, also I don't think he refused to play, he just said he wasn't going to be signing an extension past his contract expiry on 30th June and Eddie Howe decided not to play him after the season restarted.
  2. Angel's piss, a tramp's piss....doesnt matter who's piss it is, its still piss!
  3. Think this week was just the first week.
  4. Would suggest prob not if you've contacted them and cancelled the holiday. If the final balance was just outstanding and the holiday hadn't been cancelled then I'd imagine you'd get it back.
  5. Got these for tonight. Not tried any of them before.
  6. Loch Lomond Southern Summit is a really good beer for easy drinking on a summers day.
  7. Aldi doing another Scottish Beer Festival at the moment, they've got the Williams Bros Tin Man and Che Guevara lager for £1.79. I have a pdf of their leaflet with all the beer includes but it won't allow me to upload it.
  8. My response was in direct reply to Thistles post and not the article as I've not had the chance to read it all yet. Toure was (rightly) regarded as the best powerful, direct midfielder in the league (possibly the world) at that time, its not unreasonable that commentators/pundits would highlight these attributes in his play over say his technical ability, which whilst being very good was bettered by other players in the league.
  9. But can you think of a 'white' player with the same characteristics and style of play playing in the EPL? I genuinely can't off the top of my head.
  10. Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition is available for £4.99 on the Psn store just now. Cracking game, not sure how much of a multilayer community there still is but well worth it for the single player alone.
  11. I had put a small cross on the top obviously not big enough. How deep to I want to score it next time?
  12. First ever attempt at bread, didn't turn out too bad. Perhaps slightly underbaked and has blown out on one side (think the oven was too hot) but actually tastes pretty good. Might give it another try tomorrow but bake it at a slightly lower temp for a wee bit longer.
  13. Forgot about those 2 scoops of ice cream they had! The wee restaurant they went to looked good but the portions looked pretty small and they were 150 euro for 2 courses each and some wine.
  14. Going to attempt my first ever loaf of bread tomorrow. Anyone got a fairly straight forward recipe they can recommend for a white (non-tinned) loaf?
  15. Fred from First Dates and some female English chef were on a programme earlier showing you the best places to eat in Venice. She starts off by saying there are lots of good places to eat without being ripped off in a tourist trap, then proceeds to take him to a cafe on St Marks Square where they paid the best part of 60 euros for two coffees and two cakes!
  16. This months games announced as NBA2K20, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Erica.
  17. Surely it would just be cheaper then not to pay for the rest of your holiday and just lose your deposit.
  18. Think that's a fairly popular opinion tbh.
  19. I'm about 15/16 hours in so far and although I'm enjoying it, I'm not loving it like I thought I would. Here's a few of the issues I have with it so far: Too man quests - I'm abit of a quest junkie in games and will accept any quest going and have done so far with AC however there are far too many repetitive 'go there, kill that' type of missions, especially from the notice boards. I might just need to be more selective with this games. Bounties - I know a couple of guys were saying they enjoyed fighting 4 or 5 bounty hunters when trying to take down a Fort but I've found it to be a pain in the arse more than anything. My tactic has now turned into get them on the raised edges and kick them off, pretty much instant death or at least three quarters of their health gone. Sparta v Athens fights - this seems to be just a tacked on idea in each area and I find it pretty disappointing that who you choose to fight for in each area doesn't have a bearing on anything else in the game. I though it would at least affect the next area you move into. Combat - I enjoyed the combat at first as it seemed to require a bit more skill and timing than previous AC games I've played but the more I've played it I've found it to become more and more repetitive, don't get me wrong you have to change your style slightly from one enemy to the next but I still feel its a case of 'dodge, then 4 attack combo' then retreat for most enemies. Also civilians getting in the way when your fighting and accidently getting hit then joining in the fight, I know they can be taken down with a few hits but it's bad enough if your already fighting a few enemies already.
  20. Can't believe the guy is fifty! Thought he was mid 30s at most. Prob gonna pick up his book at some point although concerned each recipe is gonna need about 100 ingredients if the Chef Show is anything to go by.
  21. Never understand folk who say they don't like any sort of fruit or veg, there are dozens (prob hundreds) of different types of varying tastes and textures, surely there are some they like.
  22. Anyone got any recommendation for civilization buidling/trading games for the PC? I mean along the lines of the Anno games but without any combat involved. I've been playing Offworld Trading Company which is quite decent, just looking for other similar games.
  23. Not sure what McManaman was talking about saying he didn't really need to do that as it came off Abrahams knee, was still going in tho!
  24. No idea what Mendy is doing there, Gundogan is pointing telling him to go out left but he still comes to get the ball.
