Like all of you I would be gutted if Goodie left but if the unthinkable happens he will leave with my best wishes and a massive thank you for saving us from the abyss which we were facing. He will always be one of greatest players I have witnessed in a Clyde strip and will always be a hero to me. Anyone going on Saturday let him hear just how much he means to us.

He definitely needed a rest and besides we were only playing Falkirk

It comes from having a top class manager working wonders with what he has got to work with. I just wish our fans would appreciate the guy instead of shouting for his head any time we lose a game.

Don’t go with stats, we have missed some real big chances in this game and should be further ahead.

I’m not sure what was happening in Sept with the numbers but I would imagine cases and deaths were decreasing at that time unlike just now when infections are rising rapidly that would be the difference in approach. I wish people would remember all the dithering and lack of action at the start of all this was responsible for many avoidable deaths, hopefully we have learned from our previous mistakes.

I think your players were also thinking they were going on to score more goals and was maybe your downfall trying to be more flashy than you needed to be. Your players thought the game was over at 2-0 and paid the price for complacency. I never saw the penalty incident so can’t comment although the highlights of the goals show it was probably the correct decision although I will save judgement until I see it from the other side.

I would say the decline started the moment Letham and Alexander snuck in through the back door,, heading back to the days we witnessed under their previous tenure.

Fcuking embarrassing. Can’t even say it’s a one off, couldn’t beat E K, lose to Broomhill and now today’s pathetic effort.

Quietly confident we can get something from this game. I don’t think Airdrie are firing on all cylinders yet and have lost a few players who are doing well elsewhere. We also have Goodie who can cause all sorts of problems for any defence but to be fair our defenders cause all sort of problems for themselves.

Although we rode our luck at times, that was not a penalty and McAllister looked well offside for the red card. Is there any way of appealing that decision ?

I have got to disagree, I think he did well to block the first effort, he read that DGW was trying a little dink and got his hand up to block, he was never going to grab hold of the ball. His reactions I think after the goal was more down to his frustration at the defending leading up to the goal.

Honest to god, so much for giving the boy a chance. To be honest anyone of about 7 players could have been hooked at h/t v Broomhill. He must have something about him when a host of English clubs including premiership club were after his signature maybe next season we will start to see his potential, maybe the reason he got a 2 year deal..
