  1. Well that’s that then, fcuking atrocious team selection that is on McCall. Simply we are sh1te and I have finally accepted the inevitable, no way are we going to win a playoff against EK, we can’t beat anyone can’t even get themselves up for any of the 2 must win games we have had recently. Every team we are chasing are week after week getting further and further away from us.
Maybe that lovely man and the rest of his board fcuk right off, he is lower than a snakes belly blackmailing fans with threats of money being withdrawn if he is not installed as chairman.

It's got to be Scott Fox doesn't it? Surely for such an important position, McCall will be going for a known quantity..

Speaking to Allan Maitland on Saturday, he expects a goalie in some time this week. Mitchell was one of his targets but with him being injured it was a no no and is looking for someone with experience and ready to go, probably not worth the risk of bringing in a youngster to fill a key  position with so much at stake.

If he makes more than 1 save a game he’s better.

Have to say Parry never put a foot wrong on Saturday and looked solid, maybe because he has a much better defence in front of him than he had previously, a lot  better than Leighfield but there is always the thought at the back of my mind he could make a blunder.

  4. I believe Maitland said there was more players coming in, including a goalkeeper. The only option I believe open to us now is players who are unattached, there could be some decent ones out there and it would make more sense for them to continue playing rather than not to win a deal or be in the shop window.

  5. I thought young McGinn acquitted himself very well for his 1st start. Saturdays game was frustrating and deflating and highlighted that we can’t catch a break after dominating the game although the result should have been put to bed before the 95th minute. I honestly think Saturday is probably our last chance salloon unless a miracle happens. I believe the team is now decent and is capable enough to rack up some wins. Excluding the Elgin game we should have won the other 3 drawn games and we definitely need luck to be on our side. Craig Brown once said he would rather be lucky than good.

Did that Pride of the Clyde guy not pretend to be a Morton fan when he first joined these boards?

No I didn’t, I’ve been on here for umpteen years and I don’t ever recall even mentioning Morton in any single post, so you are barking up the wrong tree. I have supported Clyde and only Clyde for 50 years following on from my father and his father before him.

Feck me I wish I had kept my opinions and choices to myself now if the worse happened, maybe I am not such a wonderful supporter as all of these other dedicated diehard fans out there because I don’t want to watch even worse sh1te every week than I have been witnessing for a good few years now. If people want to carry on supporting their team down there fair enoughit is their choice just like my choice is not to.

"They can take our league place, but they'll  never take our delusions of grandeur!"

Nothing to do with delusions of grandeur, if we are relegated from the league it will be because we deserved it, that is just the way it is and I don’t believe we have a god given right never to be demoted to the LL, all I am saying is I will have reached my breaking point if that happens.

Having played in both, I can tell you that the difference is huge. You can tell that even just by watching. The fact you're comparing the two means you don't understand.

No one is talking up the Lowland League. It's a big drop off, and embarrassing - but we deserve it if we go down. Unfortunately I've been a Clyde fan all my life and this has been coming for us since the pyramid opened up.

Since I chucked playing on Saturdays there aren't many games I've missed by choice, but I agree that I wouldn't be going to the B team games. I'd rather buy my tickets individually and put money into the club via another route.

I’m not comparing anything, I am saying exactly what you are saying the standard is even worse, as if it wasn’t bad enough just now, why would I want to pay and watch it.

No wonder Clyde are fucked if this is the attitude of some of their fans.

We are fcuked, not because of my attitude or if I attend or not it will make no difference. We are fcuked because of the way the club has been run for a long time now, nothing to do with my attitude and not wanting to endure anymore pain or embarrassment that is my own choice.
