  1. Presuming the EEP undersoil heating is on tonight. Nippy.
  2. Is Jordan Allan cup tied for the rest of the Scottish Cup?
  3. Credit where due. I thought Collum let play flow and turned a blind eye to a few meaty challenges from both sides, keeping cards in his pocket. Until he was forced in the 2nd half to dish out a few for Darvel.
  4. Unless Lawal can get back quicker which would be a boost
  5. Liam Henderson take a bow. For me, one of the best performances from a midfielder I’ve seen in a Falkirk shirt over 90 minutes. Aggressive, took the hits, won high balls, stuck at it, assists, sublime headed goal. Wow, just wow. Take a fkn bow Hendo. ️ Bring on the Ayr, Hampden awaits.
  6. If we take the recent Kelty matchfor comparison. McGlynn persevered with Morrison and Kennedy on the wings for 60 mins, on their narrow pitch, before making the treble subs Allan, Burrell and Wright. Two of them scoring. I’ll take that as a good omen.
  7. If we get through the next two games, then what an incredible turnaround that would be for the club. Nonemoreso the much needed cash that would bring. Great draw and finally at home. Darvel first though.......
  8. He could be on course to break his duck then. Every dog has his day as the saying goes.
  9. If there’s one ingredient which every football team benefits from in a season, which we certainly have NOT, is LUCK.
  10. Beat them at their place, it will ask the question of them, and give us wee bit momentum. Beat them again at TFS, you just never know how the season will end.
  11. Yes, Dunfermline are grinding out results and show no sign of slipping up. From our point of view, the play offs are increasingly likely and we need to ensure 2nd spot by winning as many games as possible. If we were offered to finish 2nd and have a decent lucrative cup run thrown in, I’d have bitten your hand off at the start of the season. If someone had offered the same midway through last season, I’d have said they were insane. Just shows how much improved we are in a very short space of time. Keep the unbeaten run going and see where it takes us.
  12. Agree if Burrell gets the nod to start, he’ll need to hit the ground running. There’s no question he’s on hot form just now. His downfall would be if he delivered a performance, like away to Montrose (1-1), when he assisted their goal and never looked at the races. Probably his lowest moment in a Falkirk shirt and hoping it won’t return to that.
  13. Agree Allan and Burrell could cause damage if played together. We ended up something like a 4-3-3, with Wright up alongside them. The pitch kind of forced McGlynn’s hand in changing formation, but if Allan and Burrell did start together, who else would we drop along with Oliver? A good headache for McGlynn and I’m glad it’s not my decision to make.
