  1. I've not said much about the Cup game, but for me it's as much about getting booted out of the East Stand as it is the price

I had recently only just forgiven G Brown for kicking us to the Main stand years ago.

Give S Brown credit with a promise when he became chair that this wouldn't happen any more and tried a few initiatives to help

After years of watching those games on TV I very recently started attending those games again, because the Club (SBrown) had made attempts to change the set up and leave loyal Saints fans in the East Stand

Now we are back to same old crap and being asked to shell out 30 Quid for the privilege of attending a match that will feel in reality like an away game from start to finish

    Back to TV for me

The entitlement of folk expecting to just be able to read everything for free continues to astound me.

I'm sure you just give your services away for free...

That's all very well but I buy the paper most days and it's annoying when you get it on line early and can't see

Some of us like to read actual newspaper but resent paying twice

I think Preston has far too much of an influence in who we sign and uses the club for his own gain regularly by feeding stories to the media about interest in his players.  He shouldn't be part of the radio coverage for various reasons but not least his obvious conflict of interest covering players he represents.  I don't think the relationship he has with our manager is healthy for the club at all.  Therefore I didn't like hearing his giddiness about embracing CD in the corridor after the game as it just cemented those feelings.

    don't see the issue myself

Felt Montgomery threatened to drive forward on numerous occasions but would inevitably stop and then pass the ball back to Considine. No doubt that is on instruction of manager. There was loads of space on his side in the second half but we weren't interested in exploiting it.

Enjoyed scoring a late winner, you have to really, but that second half was abysmal from us, putting Crawford on just summed it up as @Radford said. What was  the managers thinking behind that? Offered us absolutely nothing, at least MOH would be an out ball of some kind.

Pretty galling to hear Allan Preston on the radio afterwards describe how he embraced Davidson at the end.

Why?They probably pals and they are ex team mates. don't see the problem

£5.99 for a month’s subscription online seems better than buying the actual paper everyday, just a thought

For me and its probably an age thing  but I prefer to sit and read the paper on my break at work, not really supposed to have phone out of locker during working hours but I usually find a way of getting on my phone too

But for me I just enjoy reading the paper on my break

I'm an odd bread when it comes to that start reading the paper backwards, looking for Saints stuff first ,very rarely get past scanned the rest of the paper for Perth news before I go back to work

I'm a dinosaur though and not keen and not great at on line stuff,I survive and probably better that some 60+Year olds..don't even get me started on self service tills in Supermarkets though lol

    I hate them !

    Regards media coverage...

I think there is an argument to be had about what should and shouldn't be available on Saints TV. Of course, if the clubs (for they are the SPFL) and broadcasters realised that PPV isn't the devil once feared, I'm sure it would pay for itself and then some of the other stuff could be free-to-air, whilst also giving you the opportunities to create premium content (don't laugh) and attract subscriptions.

But with The Courier in particular, I think it's unreasonable to expect them to give everything away for free. Personally I'm happy to pay for journalism, just as all of us would expect to be paid for our work.

What annoys me most and its a very small point

I buy the actual paper every day but its annoying  and a bit frustrating when something you will read the next day pops up on line and you just want to see what it says

I'm nor buying the paper and subscribing online

I cant be arsed, and im tired.

Constantly stepping on egg shells because you know theres folk desperate to pile on at the slightest mistake. More than happy to admit I've likely misjudged my reaction to Cleary, i spoke before i thought, but that happens a lot.

Folk I've never met mentioning me by name again on Twitter and now bringing my son into it, with some previously mentioning where i live, simply because ive a different opinion than them. Who wants to put up with that?

Its not worth it anymore. Ill maybe pop on here every so often and maybe PM folk to see how theyre getting on, but theres no benefit to me posting anywhere anymore.

If the personal stuff on other media outlets is true and I'm not doubting you, and people are naming you then that is disgraceful behacakkviour

We have had our differences and I know I've called you statto etc but I always feel that you're one of the good guys

Don't let the bast.. get you down

unless your grump is with me obviously 🤪

You claimed he wanted a loan move about 2 minutes before claiming he doesnt want to play football anymore, all this ITK info coming just moments after the news breaks hes leaving and you never even hinting at it before. You seem like a complete slaver.

I wish him all the best but i still dont think we needed to release him from his deal to help him, and im still not convinced he wont sign for a club over there fairly quickly.

I said he was offered a loan and didn't want to play football just now, you really do know how to twist things to suit your narrative

  9. 3 minutes ago, RandomGuy. said:

Yeah, your version of events was different about 2 minutes ago, so ill pass on what youre saying.

Wouldnt stand in his way but nor should we just chuck away a 2yr deal and asset for nothing.

We'll see what happens in the next few months. If he signs, and plays, somewhere else before January then its a crazy decision.

You could start a row in an empty barn.

It was slightly different  but not to the extent for you continue your narrative and pleading for reasons a player has been released for family reasons  and can't accept that sometimes football isn't important

So what if he plays In January when and if his life Is different by then

Presumably we've not just allowed a 26yo CB, with Europa League experience and 2yrs left on their deal, to walk away for nothing, so itll be interesting to see if we get a fee or if its just a loan.

I have heard that series family reasons  which I commented on about and should be respected %100 I heard a loan deal was offered but he doesn't want to play football while this is going on

personally need to draw a line under this because no one knows what issues are and sometimes football isn't important.

    This better be bullshit.

Cleary away for getting sent off, Eetu away for a fall out.

The club is being run like a primary school playground.

Folk need to hold back on comments about players leaving until truth comes  out .I have heard though that he is going  back to Ireland because of family reasons and a loan Is being sorted for 6 months until things get better at home

I have no idea what family issues are but suggest it's not my business or anyone else when it Is definitely nothing to do with Football  whatsoever

We're St Johnstone fans.  We wouldn't recognise "football".

In town Ormonds in the High St Allows children and has multiple TV

Barossa Saints in Barossa St Allows children and has a TV which isn't guaranteed to have football on .cheap  pint at £3.25 also has a bus to Mcdiarmid at £5

not much near the ground that hasn't been mentioned.
