  1. I’ve never read a judgement like it. He’s left our case for Andrex.
  2. Abdallah Sima's dad, Eck Sima, knows all about him.
  3. You are of course spot on. My apologies. Original post has been amended. It’s perhaps prudent to point out though that in the case of an unmarried couple then most funds (bar any inheritance received) would at least be open to a claim being made by either party.
  4. It's awkward to say this, but funds accumulated (or debt for that matter) during a marriage is joint, regardless of whether it goes into a bank account marked Mr & Mrs or whether it's hidden in notes under a mattress.
  5. He’s low on technique and ability, that’s his real problem.
  6. There’s nothing more maddening than when your team, in the midst of a great run of performances, throws in a manky one.
  7. That late double from big McSauce had more than a whiff of “Bruce…YES!” against Sheffield Wednesday back in 1993. Of course those two goals heralded a run that saw them streak away to win the league, their first in 26 years. Today’s two goals will merely buy a bunch of frauds some more time. Weeks I’d imagine.
  8. Massive win, just before the international break. Like a birdie on 18. It seems like an age since we last won a game where we go in front, extend our lead, and then keep a clean sheet. Did not expect Motherwell to be as poor.
  9. The Weather Girls Anything from the Deacon Blue album Raintown That Travis dirge
  10. I’m not a great believer of stroke inducing levels of apoplexy at full time, but the notion that that performance merited any type of applause from any of the Rangers support is absolutely mind bending.
  11. Dessers jumping there like a gambolling lamb, with all of the grace. Absolutely no idea what his limbs were doing.
  12. I couldn't give a shiny one who they support, as long as they're not up to nefarious nonsense then they're alright by me. Let's not forget two things - John Ward is (was?) a big Celtic fan, and Nixon is a Livi fan.
  13. I don't see anything in the guy's profile, be it company history or in the media, which says to me that he has the resources to a) buy what I can only imagine would be a multi million pound asset from the local authority and all of the subsequent costs that come with it, and/or b) write off six figure losses incurred by the football club. Our budget is wafer thin as it is, and we're losing that sum each season as soon as we switch the lights on. It's been said before by others and it's been remiss of me not to say it before now, but the saving grace for me is him keeping John Ward and Dave Black in post. I can't think of anyone better to be in there whilst this is happening.
  14. I remain thoroughly unconvinced I'm afraid. In particular any talk of buying the stadium outright, which we've heard before.
  15. I rather naively thought that the VAR only got involved after the “event” - in other words, the on field officials actually refereed the game and the VAR only got involved when asked to check something. So when I read that the VAR is hollering “possible offside Diaz” before he’s even put the ball in the net, that seems mental to me. Can the referee hear everything going on with the VAR officials, as the match is going on? Surely not?
  16. It was nothing more than a cheap dig to try and get the support onside. Just like every English football pundit seems contractually obliged to squeeze in the "best league in the world" line, it seems that every Rangers employee (and particularly those that don't have a Rangers background) must peddle the line that they are bigger/better/best.
  17. Everything about this news bothers me, from the online footprint of this guy to the constant stream of “great news” comments and social media likes.
  18. Back in his days as an International Ching Trader, mibbe.
  19. As I said on another thread, October is a massive month for the club. Hopefully get some positive answers/resolutions, enabling us to move on. The bit about “liking what they potentially see” is maddening though. It’s soundbite nonsense. I bet the Gordon’s at Hibs and Ogren at Dundee Utd saw “potential”, before they burned through millions, and for what return?
  20. Ignore him. He’s an attention seeking fraud.
  21. For me the “doom & gloom”, certainly in relation to this season anyway, is nothing to do with the team on the pitch. It has been before; I’ve been worried as to how we’d fare after losing Gallagher, Halkett, Guthrie, Emmanuel-Thomas (aye, genuinely) plus countless others over the last five or so years. The way the manager has respun our squad time and again, and each time managed to piece together a group capable of being top half contenders, is quite something No, the doom & gloom for me is off pitch. The mood music around our current finances is akin to that of a John Williams score. October is as big a month for our club as I care to remember.
  22. I can’t quite describe how I feel about this Scotland set up just now. It’s like the best summer holiday of your life, just stretching out ahead of you. It’s utterly, utterly joyous.
  23. Any excuse to post this piece of late 80's magnificence. Key takeaways for me are the state of the pitch (the bounce before wee Mo scores the first, f**k me), the Jock Brown phraseology ("a prodigious leap, a POWERFUL header - seriously, why can't commentators talk like this anymore), and overall scenes as we win with a goal THAT late.
