  1. Still no licence for LTHV on the latest SFA update printed today.
  2. I forgot about Tynecastle (and the reserves)so thanks. It feels a bit of a shame for some of the smaller EoS teams whose opportunity to qualify for the Scottish cup now looks almost impossible I hope for next season there will be more qualifying places on offer, maybe top 2 in each of the 3 conferences
  3. So does that make it 33 clubs in the Alex Jack cup? Hawick, Coldstream, Preston Ath, Burntisland, Bonnyrigg and Linlithgow being in the Scottish cup. It makes the AJ pretty lucrative for all the clubs chasing licencing
  4. It's a hell of a lot of bespoke bags and defibrillators for the EoS to be giving out!
  5. I wonder if Linlithgow and Sauchie join Bo'ness and Camelon whether Clydebank would consider going for it now seeing as these teams are not that far away from Glasgow
  6. St Andrews too https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=629768994025698&id=217764468559488
  7. Jeanfield Swift's are confirmed to be applying http://www.jeanfieldswifts.co.uk/teams/140177/news/swifts-make-pyramid-application-2311054.html
  8. I think the EoS should now offer places to all remaining Fife and West Lothian teams. Next season have 4 regional leagues. Fife league 14 juniors plus Shippy and Hillfield Swift's = 16 West Lothian/Clackmannanshire/Central league 15 juniors plus Dunipace and Stirling Uni = 17 Edinburgh and East Lothian 12 team's (maybe nab Broxburn and Pumperston to balance a bit) and could play x 3 if needed Midlothian and Borders 11 team's (could nab Broxburn/pumphy) Top teams play off for promotion to LL Top 4 create EoS premier of 16 teams in 2019 Next 5 in Fife and West Lothian leagues and next 3 in Mid/borders and Edinburgh/Eat league make up 16 team 1st Division Remainder make up roughly divided leagues of South East and Fife &West districts
  9. Is there any evidence about Arniston Rangers and Penicuik/Nitten? Seems sensible of the EoS to have a deadline rather than leaving it up to the date of the AGM. It's starting to feel a bit like an election night, just need Jon Snow with a swingometer
  10. McIntosh and Lough. McGachie is good in some games but last night wasn't set up for a physical battle. Definitely an area that needs strengthening
  11. Darren Young was about the worst player on the park last night. It wasn't a great game , Penicuik scored with their 3 chances and Rose missed theirs so deserved to go out. No cutting edge and missed best 2 strikers and defenders I don't know anyone at Penicuik but I'm sure the club will leave the juniors as soon as they can,why stay? They are a distance of licencing, The team have gone a long way but the park isn't up to much and they'd need a whole new facilities building.
  12. No matter if it's a geographical split or based on seeding I'm genuinely looking forward to all the trips next season aside from Stirling Uni EoS (and maybe Leith/LTHV but at least they should be competitive). Decision made tonight, jacking the SPFL for next season!
  13. Inverkeithing tweeted about a derby against 'hill o beath or crossgates [emoji6]'
  14. Dalkeith had their application in the middle of March so could be them?
  15. You get the £2k back when you gain the licence, it's more of a deposit
  16. How about some of these for behind the goals? They were part of the initial plans for the SFA pitch at Oriam
  17. There's a decent terrace opposite the stand with some crush barriers. Also a raised terrace behind one of the goals but not sure how you access it. I had thought the same about City using it as its a better ground then Spartans
  18. Some folk are pure mental! I planned to go on the terrace but sussed at the gate that there was no free movement so sat in the old stand instead. It was pretty full and I couldn't really see why people detest central park so much
  19. Sorry i wasn't paying much attention to what I quoted. I thought there was more then 300 EK fans at central park last year. Someone previously said there would be neutrals in amongst the EK fans. I doubt any neutral would have chosen the terrace over the stand in monsoon conditions
  20. I thought it looked slightly more, there is no way there was a single neutral on the terrace that day. It was the worst weather I've ever seen at the football.
  21. I saw the EK bus heading into Roslin Glen, I'm not sure you can get a coach round there so hopefully they've made it to the ground!
  22. https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football/lower-leagues/haddington-hope-facing-bonnyrigg-rose-won-t-just-be-a-one-off-1-4719369 Probably not something to read too much into but the Haddington players and manager look to be focusing on the superleague next season
  23. I think it goes I the EoS member's. Most junior clubs will meet the basic criteria. Most clubs now have enclosed grounds aside from Peebles which is due to happen soon. I'd be shocked if they turned any of the juniors down. Plus any club that is looking at licencing I think the SFA will expect them to be accepted to the feeder league
